I may be in the minority here, but I love the pre-shows before the rides. I agree some are a bit too long, but they help set the mood for the ride (I’m looking at you HM and ToT). For me it’s one of the things that sets Disney apart from a standard Six Flags. Hopefully some will start to return as social distancing is relaxed.

That was my exact thought too! I haven't experienced the parks since COVID, but the preshows are integral to several of the rides.

I'm going to be watching closely over the next month in the hope that they come back soon.

Preshows are a great way to stay occupied before the ride starts. If an attraction has a 30 minute wait to actually get on the ride vehicle and you spend 5 minutes in a preshow, it only feels like you waited 25 minutes.

Except Rockin Roller Coaster. That one makes it feel like you’re waiting even longer.

Yes, the pre-shows were soely missed on my recent trip. I do understand though. COVID did a lot of damage to the show (that plexiglass!) and it's unfortunate, but I know they were in a tough spot. Hopefully as things improve, they can reduce a lot of that stuff.

Agree, we missed some of the pre-shows.
Never did see the MMRR pre-show as it was walk through.
Needed the pre-shows in HM to let your eye adjust to the dark to see better, and its just fun.
Missed RnRC and ToT as they add a lot to the rides.
Didn't miss the pre-show for dinosaur and FoP (shortened).
I was glad they figured out a way to do the pre-shows for RoTR.

Why? It’s better than standing in the boring line, isn’t it?
Dinosaur, the pre-show was running on the screen, but the line wove back and forth through the pre-show room, so you sort of saw it. We weren't in the room long enough to the entire pre-show.

I wonder if or when they'll back to talking about filling in all the available space in the dead center of the room

Yes! HM without the stretching room makes my heart hurt :(
Yes! I want all pre-shows back, but this one in particular. We have dragged our kids on HM for years, one of our favorite rides, but DD 11 always closes her eyes. This year she swears she's going to watch it all and I need her to experience the stretching room!

The whole experience of Disney is important to me including pre shows. This is one of things I want back before I go back to Disney. ToT and HM especially.

Yep. I just think sometimes people have the impression that skipping the pre show gets them on the ride faster, which of course it does not. I'd rather watch a pre show than wait in the line longer.

Would legitimately rather stand in the boring line than listen to that awkward geek, dude made me cringe in second hand embarrassment every single time. At least the giant space smurf in the tank is quiet.

All the other preshows yeah, I miss them. That one can stay gone.

Having watched that pre show multiple times I don’t disagree that it’s annoying, but for first timers I do think it adds to the experience and helps explain the back story. So for that reason I hope it returns.

Probably not until social distancing is gone.
I would have liked to see them use the 1 group per dot, like they do in RoTR, but the stretching room probably
