Anyone remember those? I think it's been about 14 years since I had one of those handwiches! It was at the Sleepy Hollow restaurant in MK. I think they had a chicken salad handwich and maybe one or two other kinds. They were great and were "Disney".

Handwiches were like a hollowed out piece of bread stuffed with fillings (bbq chicken, vegetarian, etc...) You held them in your hand like an ice cream cone. Very portable.

The thing I didn't like about the handwiches was that the cheese was put on after the roast beef and always seemed to stay on the top. By the time you got half-way down the handwich it was just a roast beef sandwich.Karibeth19 said:I LOVED Handwiches!!!! We used to get ours at the food court in The Land pavillion, and my favorite was the roast beef w/ cheese. Those were the best, and I was so disappointed when we returned to WDW in 2003 after 10 years to see they were gone. Now I just have to console myself with lots of Nestle Toll House ice cream cookie sandwiches.![]()
