The day after they really closed VMK, I find myself still teary.

Has anyone ever seen the musical production or film version of "Brigadoon"?

It is the story of a Scottish village that only appears to the outside world every 100 years.

In my heart, I feel like even though we cannot enter VMK any longer, it is still there. We just cannot see it, as the outside world could not see "Brigadoon" except for when it specially appeared. Our "cute little selves" are all busy in there... questing, earning credits and dancing with friends.

I think that is how I want to think of PirateAnya now.

P.S. I have not yet had the heart to close my VMK window. I can click on the lands, but cannot get to them. All is well... for our hearts are still there. It's like Brigadoon.

I'm thinking the same but also our avatars are like the Toys from Toy Story while we are away right now they're still moving about!

you are not the only one who is keeping the vmk window open to view the furniture, pins, clothes, maps, im only sad that after i crashed and loged back in i lost my friends list or i'd be enjoying that too the vmk window will stay open on my computer until firefox eventually has an error and closes itself. im really sad about some of the vmk friends i haven't yet been able to find, and i cant sleep i really do like to think that they are all still in vmk enjoying themselves

I took pictures of sea tea's inventory and friends list so I can at least go back and see that stuff. I've also had pics of my rooms for a long time.

I think that my characters are all playing in the haunted mansion with all the other ghosts.
