Not much for long trip reports. Cast: Me 36, DH36, DD9, DD6.
HOTEL: We stayed at ASMo. The room was fine, small but pretty much what we expected. Mousekeeping greeted us with a towel animal and did a couple of cute things with the kids stuffed animals during the week. Food court food was fine. Selection of channels on the TV were pretty sad, but we weren't there for the TV. The pool was fun and never seemed very croweded. They even closed the smaller pool (Duck) a few days into the week and the main pool still did not seem crowded.

BUSES: I was prepared for a lot of waiting, but to be honest we found that there was only a few times during the week that we had what I would consider a 'wait' (more than about 5-10 mins). Felt it was well worth it to not have to drive, park, etc.

LOVEBUGS: There were there all week, but there was only maybe 3 or 4 times that they were extremely noticable. Kids loved trying to catch them and I was relieved that they did not 'buzz' so to speak.

PARKS: We used Tour Guide Mike and I would pay 5 times as much as I did to use him if we ever go back. We haven't been since we were kids and having a plan versus walking around aimlessly really made for a great week. Hardly waited for anything, saw and did everything and did many things multiple times. My 6 year old is EXACTLY 44' with shoes on and was turned away from EE which was our first ride on our first day. I had prepared her in advance that it was a possibility, but she still cried. We had fast passes for later in the day and when we went back, she was let on. She was never questioned again. Only that first morning. I think the person at the stand by line was being trained and the trainer was a little over the top. The trainer pushed down on my DD head and of course it made her too short. No one else even took a second glance when measuring her. In fact she rode Space Mountain and Mission Space several times and only once was asked to stand under the bar. Definately a hit or miss situation.

FOOD: Did mostly counter service. It was find with enough variety. My kids liked the kids meals, but they are not big eaters. They like carrots, grapes and applesauce. They occasionally substituted fries or pudding. We ate at Rainforest Cafe which was fun, expensive, but fun. We did the Fantasmic Package at H&V. It was good for what it is. We also did the HDDR. This was a rainy night so we got wet coming and going, but it was a great time and the food was great. Turned out to the a perfect way to spend a rainy night.

Weather was great, no humidity until the last two days when the tropical storm was coming in. Moleskin really saved the day for me. I started to get blisters on the bottom of my feet which I did not expect. Was very happy for that tip. Fantasmic is absolutely a must see. Sourin' is just incredible and the RnR is the best coaster I've ever been on. My DH who was 'OK' with my planning this trip says it was the best time he's ever had on a vacation. Most of that has to do with this board helping in my planning and Tour Guide Mike so thanks for all the tips and information along the way. Maybe I can talk him into another trip someday!

Thanks for the great trip report, it sounds like you all had a wonderful time!

You are so lucky that your kids like grapes, carrots and applesauce! I would be thrilled! We are also doing the H&V/Fantasmic package on our upcoming trip. I have been reading horrible reviews about H&V though. Glad to read you liked it okay.

Great trip report. It sounds like you had a great time. Thanks for taking the time to post.
