I have a 10:15 am reservation at Tusker House and I'm hoping to catch both breakfast and lunch choices when there. Is this a good time or should I shoot for a bit later? I made it for 10:15 expecting that I wouldn't be seated right away...thanks!

I think if you are seated immediately 10:15 is a bit early to hit the bridge. Not sure when you're going, but I'm guessing you wouldn't have to wait long as most folks are probably done with breakfast before 10:15. We haven't done breakfast at TH but the lunches were some of the best meals we've had on property.:)

I would shoot for a later ADR - breakfast really doesn't take that long at Tusker House. We successfully did it with a 10:25 spot in June. On our day there, they started very slowly changing over to lunch only a couple of minutes before 11:00 - and it was one dish at a time, not sudden. The breakfast items that were left were moved over to the 'cart' in the middle of the floor that holds the bread and desserts during breakfast. One of the dishes that my husband was impatiently waiting on was the salmon - that didn't come out until around 11:15. We had to really kill some time, and then we left right after he finished eating that. I think our server was ready for us to leave, but we were not budging until after tasting that dish.

I also want to add that it appeared that the larger groups were the ones waiting longer to be seated. So, if you have a larger group (we were only 4) you may wait longer.

Great, thank you! My only experience at Tusker House has been for lunch in 2013. We were a party of 4 and waited close to 30 minutes to be seated. Hopefully, it won't be that bad. I changed the ADR to 10:30.

I would actually try to make it even later. We once booked the earliest lunch ADR at Tusker House and when we arrived, lunch wasn't even out yet. I wasn't very happy about it as we booked specifically wanting the lunch food. It took another, good 15 minutes for them to do the changeover. This was about two years ago, so I don't know if they have gotten fast with the switch, but I would try to book the absolute latest breakfast you can get.

We had a 10:15 ADR in May, got seated about 15 minutes later and we were done by the time the lunch items came out a little after 11:30. If you are counting on lunch items too, I would shoot for a little later.

We were there on 8/4 & had a 10:30 ADR, we were seated around 10:20 (I thought there would be more of a wait) & we were still able to have both.

We had a 10:15 in July. We took our time and left about 11:30. There were a few lunch items on the menu towards the end but definitely mostly breakfast.

I booked a 10:25 hoping to bridge the gap -- the lunch stuff didn't come out until a little after 11 and (like others have said) it was dish-by-dish. I tried to pace myself but by the time all the lunch stuff came out I was pretty full. We were a party of 3 and got seated right away -- I think we waited less than 5 minutes.

This happened to us at Crystal Palace last month. We were up early and were ready for lunch foods at 11:00. No such luck. They still had breakfast at nearly 11:45!!

We've only had PPO breakfast as well as dinner at Tusker House. We're trying for lunch in November but have a 2:25 so are planning we will for sure see lunch out!
