On a couple of our previous DCL cruises, we've enjoyed taking a bridge tour. I think the tickets were available to cruisers who booked with Amex. I know they were discintinued after 9/11, but wondered if they may have been reinstated. If not a bridge tour, can anyone tell me if you can walk around on that catwalk that overlooks the bridge. Our DS would love to see it.

You can get a pretty good view of that from the gym of the Magic. From the treadmills you can see down to the bridge. We were on the Oct 6th cruise last year (3 wks after 9/11) and weren't able to take the bridge tour.

No, they have not reinstated the Bridge Tour.....unfortunately...we were hoping to take it on our recent 8/3/02 cruise

when we were on the wonder in july the CM running the gym said that the gym is the only place on the ship from which you can see the bridge...

it's highly doubtful they will reinstate the bridge tour anytime soon......security (and the resulting insurance issues....their liability exposure would go through the roof if they were to reinstate the tours and then if something were to happen as a result of that decision)...
as far as i know, all cruise lines have discontinued bridge tours because of the security situation...
