OMG!!!! I'm watching this show on We. There is one bride named Regina, she is totally obnoxious and watching her is stressful. I pity the sap that she is marrying! :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

ITA - but I keep watching that show and laughing.

These women are too over the top. I hope they don't reproduce .... those pooor kids.

I watched that last week. I was happy when her BM told her off. Did her fiance even speak English. It is one day of your life. Enjoy the wedding day Marriage is hard work.

I LOVED Regina. For pure entertainment value. :teeth: What was the deal with the 27 foot veil? I kept telling DH, that veil is taking on a life of its own. She couldn't move without everyone having to adjust that darn thing. :rotfl: Not to mention, it had to get its own ride to the castle.

I did enjoy it when the priest told her that when it came to the ceremony, she had to not be bossy and obey him. :teeth: You've got to be pretty bad to annoy the priest.

I also found it really weird that they sat on chairs during the receiving line. And it appeared as though no one was talking to poor Domingos. And she sat and made her 94 yo grandmother stand?

Best show ever. I find it so amusing but dh says he can't stand it because he can't get over her annoyance with the way these women act. It does make him appreciate me and my low maintenance ways. :lmao:

I also thought her sitting to receive her subjects...er, guests, was a bit over the top. But then again, EVERYTHING about that wedding was! I felt sorry for her poor groom; he had that "deer caught in the headlights look" that so many Bridezilla partners get.

I also laughed at her trying to control the rest of the actors in her production without the help of a stage manager. I suspect that some of them just stuck around because she had probably chosen gowns, etc that cost them a fortune, and they couldn't get their money back.

Kudos to the priest for telling her off, and TRYING to remind her of the true meaning of the event.

DD (22) watched it with me, and said, "Mom, is it OK if I just elope? Or can we just keep it to ____ (her best friend) you and dad, my brother, our next door neighbors, and HIS parents, sibs, and dearest friends?" :thumbsup2

I haven't seen this show but it sounds like My Super Sweet Sixteen on MTV. Even though I am over 50, I watch it. It is bridezillas in training. These girls get Sweet 16 Parties for thousands and thousands of dollars and feel they deserve it.

I watched the end of this last night. Was there something wrong with the groom? Nobody else seemed to be sweating but he seemed to have it pouring off of him. :confused3 I felt bad for him.

Nothing can make me watch on TV the type of personality I had to grow up with....

Ahh...maybe that's why I enjoy it so. It's just so foreign to me. I don't know anyone who acted this way about their wedding.

Then again, if I had, I wouldn't have lived to see my wedding. My mom would have knocked my block off long before I hit these heights. :teeth: I can just hear her, "The world does not revolve around you. Get over yourself." No worrying about an inflated sense of worth with MY mom around! :rotfl:

I didn't think Regina was THAT bad. Nothing compared to Marsha that was on a few weeks ago. I would have been annoyed too that no one would pay attention during the rehearsal. And that bridesmaid telling her off should not have done that on the wedding day. Maybe later - but to upset a bride on the wedding day seemed wrong to me.

I thought it was odd that the groom was sweating so much. He didn't seem very smart - I got the impression that maybe she was so happy to have found someone - anyone - to marry her that she just took what she could get. And that was him.

I think her biggest mistake was in choosing a wedding - and location - that she clearly couldn't afford. Going into big debt for a wedding is not a good idea.
