I am not a disney bride but everyone here is wonderful. I was on the knot and got some rude responses so please lay easy on me.

When I announced my wedding date 1 1/2 years before my wedding I asked all my bridesmaids. I am getting married this june. Last july I asked them all their prices range and they said its up to me my wedding. When I picked a few dresses they all said it was fine.

I asked them if the end October worked good for them to order dresses. They had to be ordered by the end of this month and with the holidays I thought better to order it before than after. Everyone said it was cool.

Day of ordering in October 2 did not have money to pay which was not big deal and said they would in 2 weeks. It is not the middle of January and this month is the deadline for ordering.

How should I approach this without hurting anyones feelings. I dont what to ruin a friendship over this.

How many bridesmaids are you having?

All I can think of for you to do is just bring the subject up lightly... just mention that you recently realised it's almost the deadline for ordering dresses. If they don't have the money you then have 2 options: 1) Not have them as bridesmaids, which would be pretty harsh if you've already asked or 2) Help put some money towards the cost of the dress.

I am paying for my bridesmaids' dresses as I always just thought it's me who wants them as bridesmaids so in my own opinion they shouldn't have to pay money for a dress that I have picked :rotfl:

I think if you just remind them it wouldn't be a big deal. It's pretty easy to forget deadlines like that. I paid for the fabric for my BMs gowns and they made them, so it was sort of like half/half since I knew they were a little strapped for cash at the time. So, a gentle reminder with an after statement noting if money is an issue that you are willing to help out or have them pay you back or something. They shouldn't be offended because you're worried about your wedding (and you gave them plenty of time to bring up issues!).
