I am having trouble thinking of some gifts to give my bridesmaids.

I have two maids of honor, two older bridesmaids (about 30) and two younger ones (13, 15). My sister is also giving me away and i would like to get her something special, she is 22.

We are coming over from the uk so i can't give anything like perfume because of customs. It will also have to be something quite light so they can take it home! I don't really want to give jewellery.

I was going to buy them all a ticket to a dinner show but now half of them have already bought one!! I want to spend about £20 a person, anyway have any ideas????

Hi. I only have one maid of honor! I just bought her a sterling silver key ring from Tiffany and Co. They range in price from $60.00-125.00. You can have them engraved if you like. I think they make a nice gift. They are light and easy to carry! Good Luck!

I gave my girls (3) Waterford Crystal. They had a table at the mall of small crystal items and I tried to get each girl something she would use. My sister loves pictures so, I got her a small picture frame, one of my friends a small bud vase and the other a ring holder since she was the next in line to get married. They were only about $25 a piece.

I gave all of my Bridesmaids a day at the spa. I paid for their facials, their manicure, and pedicure, and then had lunch there at the spa. I had one of the spa employees take a group photo of us outside the spa, and had it developed and gave each of them a Grand Floridian picture frame with a copy of the photo inside. They all said that they enjoyed the pampering more than any trinket they would have received, plus it was an expense they didn't have to pay for themselves.

thanks for all of the ideas!!

I love the spa idea, can you recommend any spa's around disney area??

There's still my two younger bridesmaids though, i will have to get them something different!!

I'm giving everyone a disney tote w/ personalized mouse ears, tigger key chain filled w/ candy, tigger disney patches, disney bracelots for the girls and money clips for the guys, disposable cameras, and cinderella's carriage photo frames.
I had a lot of luck at Disney Deals.

I am glad you liked the spa idea. I know that at Disney World, there is the Grand Floridian Spa, the Saratoga Springs Spa, and one at the Wyndham Resort. I do not know about outside Disney World, though. I used the Grand Floridian Spa, and they had treatments like My First Facial and My First Manicure for younger girls. At that spa, they will accept people over the age of 10, so it worked out perfectly. I had a Bridesmaid who was 15, and she was able to have a manicure, a facial, and an aromatherapy bath. I requested a brochure from the Disney Website, on the contact us section. Hope this helps.

The spa idea is great...lightweight, no worry about customs, eadily available at WDW and a totally 'wow' gift!:)

Your dinner show tix idea is awesome too...since they've already bought those though, what about Cirque du Soleil tix?

Annette the spa idea is a good one but the treatments are quite expensive compared to what we are used to paying in the UK. I thought I'd mention this as you said you only wanted to spend £20 on each gift.

I got the BM's their jewellry as a gift because I wanted them both to wear the same so it would look good in the pictures.

As extra thank you gifts they got "me to you" Bridesmaid bears which I got from Clintons and were easy to transport and then once I was at WDW I bought them both Tinkerbell SnowGlobes which were small enough for them to transport home.

I am giving my girls jewelry to wear for the wedding and each a something special that suits them.

--Arabian Knights, Medevial Times, or Mardi Gras are some great dinner show ideas you may want to consider as well.

--I am doing the spa thing for the B-party instead of the traditional drunken stripper night before the wedding. OOHHH how fun!

--You may also consider just getting them each something different.

Good luck with your decision!!:bounce:

I'm giving my BMs jewelry, too. They are all getting pearl necklaces ($35 each at nordstrom $75 from the designer's site) to wear at the wedding. They will look so cute with the dresses! They are casual enough to be worn with many things. I think they will really like them and they were very affordable.

Any ideas for a 2yo flower girl???

I got one of my BM's the Tiffany silver heart necklace, and the other the silver heart earrings, since I knew she already had the necklace. For the Jr. BM, and our flower girl I got them each a 5x7 frame, a disposable camera, a photo album, a pair of earrings, and lip gloss. I would have gotten them all jewlery too, but their mom's told me they would just break them, and suggested a frame instead. So I took that idea and went with it. :)
