Bridesmaid Bouquet

Did anyone use a florist in the area to make the cost of the wedding go down a little? My fiance's bouquet is covered in the intimate price, but I don't feel like spending 125+tax on a bridesmaid bouquet which will be used for only 1 hour. I've called and most of them have said they can make one for 75 bucks...I think I could just buy the roses and have my mom make one for alot cheaper... Anyone have any other ideas?

Call Emily at Charming Events and tell her your budget & what you would like, she is VERY easty to work with. I was married ina courthouse ceremony in Florida a few mos before my Disney wedding and she did those flowers as wel as my wedding flowers.

Another option to consider would be a triple-rose wand. I know a couple of brides on the board used them for their bms and the single wands for fg.

I'm having an intimate as well and am seriously considering getting the rose wand for my moh...not sure how much they are but I believe they are significantly cheaper than the bm bouquets!

We had rose wands with 6 roses, I *think* my sister paid around 50-60 for them. I didn't think I'd like it as much as a full bouquet--but it was so gorgeous and made me feel like a princess too Maybe it was the pixie dust sprinkled on it

Those rose wands do look very pretty, and much cheaper compared to the other Disney offerings. Does anyone know if they will change the length of the stems, though - My sister (also maid of honor) thinks they might be too long. And does the pixie dust cost extra? (I would SO get it anyway!)

I'm sure they could make them as long/short as you would like. The pixie dust is part of the magic of the rose wand.

We had a triple rose wand for my MOH too! It was so adorable! Back in October it was $35 and I know that has gone up. You can order them with or without the Pixie Dust (it does not cost extra). You can get any colors you want, we had burgundy roses and ivory ribbon since those were our wedding colors. Rosie in Disney Floral is so great to work with you could probably get the stems shortened a little, but I think the length is perfect, after all it is a wand

Disney Floral did them. Laura from Disney Floral did Kammie's flowers.

I love the 3 rose wand. The Wish Book site says the 1 rose is $25, and the 3 rose is $45. I think I will talk to the girls and see what they like...

Hey Mindystar, you said that the wands with 6 roses were between 50 and 60 dollars if I remember correctly. I showed the pictures to my fiance and she thought they looked great (and much better for us than the 125 dollars bridesmaid bouquets). I think we're going to go with those for the maid of honor.

The girl's "bouquets" were actually a small replica of my bouquet made up of six pink long stem roses laced up in pink and dusted with pixie dust. The cost was $45 each.
