Bridal Shower

Hi I have another question my cousin is my bridesmaid and she and my aunt along with another bm and her mom are throwing me a shower....what kind of gifts do you give or have you given the throwers of your shower?

I made sure I got a picture at the shower of me with each person who hosted (three friends) then I got the pictures developed and bought picture frames that matched their home decor. I framed the picture and wrote each a personal thank-you note. Hallmark, I believe, actually has "thank you for my bridal shower" cards. I've been to two of the three houses since and they have the pictures displayed so I guess they liked them For my bachelorette party hostess I got her something at Bath & Body Works that she had specifically been wanting and she loved that. For the work shower I just wrote them thank-you notes and made cookies.

For showers I've thrown I've always seemed to get really nice stationary or personalized note cards as a thank-you gift and I loved that as I write a lot of letters. Just IMHO, if you know them well enough, give them something personal rather than a "stock" gift, it will mean a lot to them.

for my shower i gave my moh, bm, mom & fmil a spa kit with lotions, bath gel, body scrubber, candle & hand massager along with a thank you card. they also got little heart cakes with their name on it that i made (since i knew my heart & paris shower theme, for favors all the guests received heart cookies & cutters). i also had flowers delivered to my mom & fmil at work to say thanks since they paid.
