Brick and Mortar store-you're retail winners and losers

Loser: Kohls, what has happened with them? The stores are a mess and they seem to have a total of two employees at any given time. The coupons and Kohls cash and promos are ridiculously overdone.

Winners: Target & Five Below

Target is my go to store for gifts. Found some great items at a great prices.

Five Below is my new go to store for stocking stuffers. Got some really fun things for the kids on my list!

TARGET!!! Especially after checking my bank statement and seeing all my redCard transactions! Found what I wanted for good prices, plus that $10 free gift card thing sucked me in! and JC Penney! Found Skylanders for a fantastic deal and ended up walking around and found some other great bargains. Plus loved their pin promotion!

Losers: Kohls....I really hate that store now! Overpriced, and their kohls cash scam....can't stand it. Walmart...we have a really lousy one near us, so I hardly go there, but the two times I did, found nothing I was looking for.

Winners

JCP - loved the button promotion and I found lots of cute stuff for great prices. Despite the no coupons they did have some discounts throughout the hoping season and the Black Friday prices were outstanding!

Target- gotta love the red card discount and they also had great Black Friday deals.

Macy's - I'm a year round Macy's fan so the holidays are no different.


Losers

Toys R Us - overpriced and too much hassle to get advertised discounts.

Walmart - ours is always a madhouse. I will pay more at Target for less stress

I have to say that as a brick-and-mortar store, Amazon is definitely a loser. But as an online store, it wins for me, every time!

Five Below is my new go to store for stocking stuffers. Got some really fun things for the kids on my list!

Me too!! We just got a Five Below a few months ago and I bought stuff for the kids sports basket for the basket raffle. I went back into the store in early December and bought a ton of stocking stuffers for the kids. Even DH was impressed with some of the stuff they had.
