1 cup whipping cream
1 cup white sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
6 TBSP butter
1 TSP vanilla
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
(***NOTE*** Times are based on a 1,000 watt Microwave oven. You may have to adjust the cooking times accordingly.)
Mix 2 sugars and whipping cream in a glass bowl.
Put in microwave and cook for 5 minutes.
Remove immediately and stir once.
Place back in microwave and cook for 3 minutes.
Remove immediately and stir once.
Place back in microwave and cook again for 3 minutes.
While the mixture is cooking, cut the butter into small pieces. This makes it easier to melt.
After the cooking is done, immediately add the butter and the vanilla. Mix vigorously until all of the butter is melted.
Add the walnuts and mix, then pour into a pan that has been greased (butter), or you can use a foil lined pan.
**Note** After you take the mixture out for the last time, it will cool very quickly . You have to move fast to get the butter melted and to get the nuts in.
After you have poured the mixture into the pan, let it cool for a few minutes, and you can cut the pinoche into slices. Then, let it fully cool.
Enjoy!!!!
