I was never a fan of his music, never watched his cable show. DW watches CA so I've seen a bit of it and he seems like a genuinely good guy. I sure hope he makes a full recovery, it'd be nice to see someone like him catch a break.

I haven't heard what they did to rectify the problem. The last I heard, the bleed happened near the brain stem in an inoperable area. I don't want this to come out wrong, but what is to keep it from happening again? My mom died from a brain aneurysm. She had an initial bleed which sealed off. After a couple of days, it just went and that was the end.

Of course, if it is in an inoperable area, there isn't much they can do about it. I hope, of course, that he never has another problem, but I'd be really scared that it could happen again.

The neurosurgeon said there was no more of chance of this occurring again to him just b/c it happened once. Chance of him suffering from this again are the same for anyone else his age.

GREAT interview. I love Bret Michaels. He is just such an awesome person. I am thrilled for Bret and his family that he survived and is recovering from the brain hemorrhage. They stated that only 20% of those actually survive.

Oprah is on at 4pm our time as well.

His girlfriend is the mother of his children, and they live together.
I have never watched any of his shows but I saw him on Oprah.
I read online that him and his girlfriend have recently reconciled. So maybe while he was filming those shows he was separated from her? Or maybe they have an open relationship? Like Gene Simmons and his girlfriend?
I have also read that he was even considering marrying his girlfriend since the brain hemorrhage .

I've never paid any attention to him until he was on Oprah and he has got some nice eyes . He seems really genuine and sweet and I hope he makes a full recovery. And as someone else said, his daughters are beautiful!
