I e-mailed Brenda Bennett to get information on the counter service restaurants and snacks that would be safe for my DD who is allergic to milk. I know others have mentione that she sent this and it was very helpful. I'm looking specifically for MK and MGM. It's been a few days and I haven't heard anything. Does anyone know how long this usually takes? Does anyone have the info that they could send me?

Thanks!

I can't help you there. Someone must have it!

This year when I emailed her I got the information back the same day. Maybe she is out of the office? Can you wait for the information until next week? If she doesn't get back to you on Monday, PM me and I'll email you what she sent me. Amy

PS - My son is on a gluten and dairy free diet so there is information for both in what she sent me.

She will sometimes take a little while to get back to you, depending on the nature of your request. She took a day or two to get back to me about sugar free cakes, but that was a very specific request, which may have been quicker to answer than email (just a guess). I know she is around at the moment though, as I got an email from her yesterday.

Good luck! :goodvibes

Can someone confirm her e-mail address to make sure I'm using the right one? Also, should it make a difference if I'm staying offsite?

We always stay off-site and haven't had a problem either time we contacted her.

PM me your email address and I'll send you what she sent me. I'm sure a lot of it applies to your DD. At least you'll have something to look at over the weekend.

My son is allergic to milk, peanuts and fish and we visited in Aug. He had NO problems at all and we ate only on Disney property. they had tofutti, rice dream, sorbet, cookies and brownies that were safe for him! He hugged the chef one night at Shutters!:yay:

My DS is allergic to dairy and eggs, and we've taken him to WDW many times. They have a list of ingredients at all the counter service restaurants, as well as the full service ones the chef will talk to you in person. They would substitute a kaiser roll for his hamburger bun, as you probably know that the company that makes Wonder Bread, Interstate Bakeries (?) supplies WDW all their buns, and they added whey to ALL their products a while back (GRRRR!). My DS had reacted to a hot dog bun right after they changed the ingredients, and stupid me forgot that although you've bought something before, you still have to read the ingredients every time you buy something! Oh well.

If you have any specific questions, I would be happy to help you. We love that at WDW he eats very well.

They were very nice at Restaurantasaurus, as the kids' meal has McDonald's chicken nuggets, so they substituted a hot dog sans bun for him. That way he got the silly toy.
