Breathless is available for Dec Illum. Cruises!

I called today (as I have every day for the past 70 or so days) to check if there were any cancellations for an Illuminations Cruise during my stay in December. I was offered the Breathless! Until now, I was told the Breathless would be down for refurbishment until Jan 1. But I guess it came back from refurb early! I booked it in a heartbeat!
For those who don't know the Breathless is a special wooden crafted boat that's a bit different from the normal pontoon boats that go out for the Illuminations cruises. I think they hold fewer people and costs a bit more as well.
So if you're wishing for an Illuminations cruise during your stay in Dec, check now, you may get lucky!!!

P.S. - I was told to only be there 15 mins beforehand; I thought you had to get there earlier than that since they go out around the lake before docking @ Epcot, can anyone confirm this?

Excellent information! The breathless is a reproduction of a 1930's ChrisCraft speed boat and it's beautiful. I'd love to have an Illuminations cruise on the "Breathless".

THANK YOU luvpooh! I was able to secure the Breathless for our January trip! I'm very excited, and hoping it is worth the money. I posted another question on the board to see if someone could share their experiences with the breathless with us.
THANKS AGAIN for the heads up!

Oops! Forgot to say that I was told to be there at 8:15- and that the boat leaves at 8:30 for the 9:00 Illuminations show. I thought that was kinda funny too. I wonder if this boat goes other places then the pontoons do???

Well the Breathless goes a lot FASTER then the other boats which could explain the difference.
