I was just told by a CM that the price increase will go into effect for any shoots booked after the 24th of Aug. I will be able to book tomorrow for our shoot on the 23rd of Sept. and I will get the $25 price.

I ,too, wanted to say how nice your pics turned out. The blue shows up so well against the green of the grass and plants. And you both look so relaxed and happy! (unlike me who kept saying out of the side of my mouth, "Act like you like your brother/sister and smile")

We just did the BC photoshoot on Monday literally 4 hours before Fay rolled in and stayed put for the rest of our trip! LOL!

We had an 8am appt. and were brought straight outside-no photos were taken inside at all. Our photographer took about 60 photos.... some with just DH and I, some of just our 2 girls, and most were of the 4 of us. I haven't had a chance to peek at them again since the quick review Monday morning at the desk (we just got home 3 hours ago)

Our photographer said the price IS going up, but didn't specify when or how much. It was $99 for the photopass pre-purchased CD prior to the trip and then $25 for the photoshoot payable in the gift shop that morning.

I'd definitely do it again!

I booked for Sept. 22 at Beach Club, and it sounds like the prices are still up in the air? I asked what the cost would be and the CM told me $150. I said, but with a pre-purchased CD, it is cheaper isn't it? He said, yes, prices just went up to $50. I said I thought that was going to be effective Sept. 1? He said, oh yea, your cost will be $25, I will make a note of it on your reservation. ?!?!?!? Maybe I should have kept going to see if I could get it free?

Thank goodness for all of you, or I would have had no idea and paid $150 for something that should be $25??? Actually, there would be no way I would have done it for $150!

We're staying at BC with extended family in Mar '09, and I plan to book the photo session there. (Yes, even with the increased cost.)

Sadly that is how any big corporations are...let's make alot of $$ off of a few instead of keeping our prices low, get the word out on the item and make alot of money off many.

If it wasn't for Dis, I would have never know about the CD or photoshoot. It's not even listed...as far as I could find....on their website. I went to Bradk's site to read up on it and many other things that WDW has.

Call the GF today, as I just got off the phone after making my reservation for Sept., and she told me photo shoots go up to $75 tomorrow, as opposed to the $25 you would pay if you pre-purchased the CD. Book em QUICK!!

Hi to all,

I am fairly new to theses boards "love them" and I have a couple questions and am not sure if this is the right place to ask, if not please direct me where I should. I have used the Photo Pass on several trips but never did the pre-purchase. If you pre-purchase Photo Pass do you still get the CD itself, because I like having the actual CD for me. Next, with the Photo Session, DH and I will be at the WL 10/25-11/2 on our first trip "by ourselves" for our Aniversary. I would like to do the photo session at the WL while we are there, we have so few photos of just us.

So this is my understanding of how it works:
a. You contact the resort that you want to have the session to make a reservation.
b. You don't have to pay for it at the time you make the reservation.
c. If you have pre-ordered the Photo Pass you let them know and then you get a discounted rate on the Resort Session.
d. You can't make reservations prior to 30 of you session.
e. The price of the resort session is suppose to be increasing, soon.

I think that is all I know about it. So do you contact the resort you want to do the shoot at directly? And what is the cost now and what will it be going to with and with the pre-purchase of the Photo Pass?

I am so sorry because I know I have repeated questions that have probably already been asked, but I get so overwhelmed, confused and sidetracked with the amount of information on these boards. It is quite addicting! But everyone here is so nice and understanding and full of information. Gee I thought I knew a lot about WDW but I really question that now.

When you pre purchase you load all your photopass cards on your special account. Then all the pics are combined into one account, you can then edit and put logos and borders on them, then mail you a CD. It's great.

Looks like you have all the details to sign up for the photo session correct also.

We too, just got booked for AKL, and guess what, we arrive on the 23rd of Sept, soooo, today was officially the first day we got to call to book (30 days out). Tomorrow the prices increase, so whew!!! we got in just in time to get it for the 25$!!! I never get this lucky, ever. I just hate it for those who are arriving after us and have to pay the new crazy prices!!!!!
