An Air Canada flight was forced to make an emergency landing at the Calgary airport Thursday morning.
Ambulances and fire trucks rushed to greet the plane, which landed around 8:30 a.m.
CTV News has learned that a total of 10 people were treated at the scene.
Six patients were taken to hospital in stable but potentially life-threatening condition. Four patients had minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
The injured were taken to all three of Calgary's hospitals to avoid overwhelming any one emergency unit.
Officials say 91 people including five crew members were on board the flight, which is identified as flight number AC 190.
The aircraft is an Airbus A319.
No word yet on what caused the injuries or whether turbulence or a mechanical issue is to blame.
The flight had taken off from Victoria and was heading to Toronto.
CTV News will continue to update this story as details become available.
