GReat news! How did you find this out? Will they honor it for those of us who have already completed it?

This came up on our VMK Insider Tour. If you found all 50 Mickeys before the quests started (and VMK went live on June 27) you cannot get the certificate that gets you a VMK tour. But think of the bright side...you didn't spend a huge amount of credits trying to get all the Mickeys on film! ;)

I haven't spent a hugh amount of credits because I was one of the ones during Beta that took all 50 but only got credit for 48.

Just going to get my HM list now to see which 2 I am missing it has been so long I have forgotten!!!

Will post as soon as I complete.

I'm stumped at 49. I've check my list and have one that comes up "error" unknown (#48) on the list
I don't know what to do now.

I didn't realize that we had to pay for the tour. How much is it?

I also get an unknown-erro on #19 in the gallery. This list in the players guide doesn't match up exactly with the list you can check in your hidden mickey quest list. Under Gallery there is #18 & 19, and on the game check list it says "gallery - castle stained glass". Does this match them?
Thanks for any help

It is free as far as I understand but you have to correctly complete the in-park quests (all four, now) before you are given the pass for the tour. ;)

Got my 500 credits and my free VMK tour!

Will post screen shot as soon as I upload! :wizard:

The Tour is Free if you complete the Quests and actually is the only way you can take the tour until now.

With this PASS you do not have to complete the Quests you get a Free Pass and I would assume that if you so want and do the Quests you could tour again.

My two were #40 and #49 check the Guide for reference.

Yippee! This is cool! I already found the Mickey's long ago, but used my "other girl" to collect them again for the pass (thankfully, by the way, I hadn't used any codes on this character - I needed them to buy film!) Anyhoo, I did get all 50 and the pass. Here is the "fine print":

"Separate park admission required. Redeemable from 6/27/05-12/31/05 at VMK Central outside Innoventions at the Disneyland Park in the Disneyland Resort or The Main Street Cinema in the Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort to receive your VMK Insider Tour card, which is redeemable for 1 VMK Insider Tour for up to 4 people. Players can redeem only 1 VMK Insider Tour Voucher every 30 days. Voucher valid for one time use only and additional copies will not be honored."

Just FYI.

So, this means if we opt to use this instead of doing the quests, we will miss out on the quest prizes, correct?

Thanks for the fine print Cami.
I was thinking the same as you, but getting the free tour, you'll miss out on the other prizes that come with the other codes. And since we have all the answers, its not too much trouble to scratch off the answers on the quest cards.

Just because you opt to take the Free Tour does not exempt you from taking doing the quests. You could take the tour and still do the quests. You wouldn't be losing out on anything. The good thing about having the free tour voucher is that you can schedule your Tour when you first arrive at the park and not wait. Since I hear they are really filling up fast.

The way I take that is you can not print up and redeem several copies of the same voucher and or use different characters to get multiple vouchers and then use them.

It does not say you can not take the tour again if you complete the quests.

But by the time I get to WDW it probably will.

The bummer is that it expires 12-31-05 we are not going until 2006.

But maybe they will extend that expiration date.

If it's anything like the code for the tent room, it will have a barcode on the printout that is good only for your particular free pass--meaning it's a "single use"

I think. :) I know my tent room was like that.

That was my first thought. :)

Since the answers are readily available (I believe), you are still probably better off just answering the quest questions and getting the tour. Especially since the Tomorrowland quests (pre-printed and brought to the park) get the cool teleportation magic and Stitch teleporter.

I agree Bezoar you should still do the quests to get the prizes and the tour.

But you can arrange for your tour using your voucher so that you can secure a tour time since I hear they are filling up very fast. I think I read somewhere they are booked for a few days. That is hearsay not fact since I have not been to WDW/orDL

That sounds like a great idea: use the Hidden Mickey Quest voucher to secure your tour slot first thing in the morning, and then do or just hand-in the regular quests during the day.

Sound like a plan :)

Okay I think I got it. If I have already done the hidden mickey quest I can not get a free tour unless I use a different character. :confused3 Gee that is not Good. Maybe I will push my DH to complete his so we can get a VMK tour.
I spend a lot of hard earn credits taking this quest most expensive film I have ever bought. :guilty: Oh well I will get this free tour one way or another.

Thanks for the heads up. :) :wave2:

Shorts - yes, it does have a bar code with, what looks like, a unique code.

I'm just curious why you would say that you can't make multiple players to print out more then I voucher. I only ask because we are going to Disney World the end of August and we are a family of 7 and according to the fine print 1 voucher admits 4 people, I was wondering if 1 of my kids could make another character to print out another voucher so we can all go on the tour? Also if I print out the voucher now will I be able to save it till we go back to Disney in November? Thanks for any help!
