Come on Disney. $10 off for Disney resort guests was already bad compared to when we used to get free bands. Now we won't get anything?

They had cancelled this offer for International guests over a year ago. I would be surprised if this is an error.

They cancelled those for international guests years ago. I was so bummed when it happened since the magic band plus was new. I miss picking out a new band for my arrival. I didn’t know it happened for everyone now.

Lucked out and got my order in just a few days ago...

On the one hand, this is a bummer that the discount is going away.

On the other hand, since they're rechargeable, I've always thought of the MB+ as a more long-term use/fashion accessory than the original versions that were free. I used to get a new MB for every trip, but the newest MB+ I bought was only my second one, and I'm still planning on rotating the other one in and out.

Confirming. I just looked at MB prices for the upcoming trip and they are NOT discounted. In the future, if I want a new MB+ I'll purchase one in a store at WDW where I can get my 10% AP discount. At least that'd be something. And fortunately I don't need a new one right now or perhaps ever.

The last magic band I bought was for my 2020 trip that was canceled for covid. I have enough bands to last the rest of my life, since I don't care about the new features or the long range ones that will eventually stop working on them.

Nope.

If you are staying on-site and have issues using them for your room swing by the front desk. Sometimes the hotels need to do a room code thing on them but that’s about it.
