In today's Disney earnings call, Bob Iger officially announced that Pandora: The World of Avatar will open on 27th May 2017.

Star Wars at WDW will be late-2019 according to rumors. Toy Story is expected to be Spring/Summer 2018, but nothing officially announced for that yet.

If (big if) they debut ROL tonight or even anytime soon, would it be fanciful to think they might roll that out even earlier than the May 27 date for Pandora?

They are about to endure Anna & Elsa plus 7DMT times 10. They better have a plan.

Until it's Disney official (and even then ...) I believe no one's projected openings. Too many people make stuff up.

Yes Rivers will open before Pandora.

Yes, RoL will debut before Pandora. Thats a definite. I've heard rumors on good terms that RoL will debut within the next 6 weeks. Likely to be in February sometime.

Pandora will be chaos - there is no two ways about that. There were long queues when 7DMT opened, when FEE opened, when Anna and Elsa began meeting. There is no getting away from big crowds and long queues for a new opening - it has to be expected.

Yes, rumors are rumors, and should be treated as such. But they are educated rumors, they are not just dates plucked out of the air. As @rteetz said, Pandora rumors were near enough bang-on. Late-may has been rumored for quite some time for Pandora.

Hopefully they will be announcing extended night time hours to the AK schedule. Pandora by night seems like the way to go here.

How exciting! Probably a good thing we can't afford to go this year anyway, it will give it time to get broken in and we will miss opening crowds
