I'm thinking we'd like to try some table service breakfasts this time around. I did some research and found that Chef Mickey's, Whispering Canyon Cafe, 'Ohana's, Boma, Akershus, and a couple others have table service breakfasts. I think Chef Mickey's is a definite (my mother's only request) and I was thinking one more. Has anyone eaten at these others for breakfast? Any recommendations? Thanks!

boma is wonderful.
If you're going to animal kingdom we love tusker house
never been to ohana but going soon!
also maybe Kona?
whispering canyon has good french toast
but if you want princesses go w/ akershus

I guess it all depends on if you care about characters or just good food....

Hmm, Boma sounds good. I was just looking up the menu on wdwinfo.com . And we're thinking we'll be staying at the Wilderness Lodge, so a breakfast at Whispering Canyon would definitely be convenient. And characters aren't a must for us, since our youngest group members will be 15. Thanks for the suggestions! Too bad I can't make my ADR's until 90 days in advance... which will be Sept. for us!! :rolleyes1

Dont miss the Tonga Toast at Konas. They are worth the trip to the Poly.
We also love the buffet breakfast at Trails End.

I know it's not on your list, but: Have you ever had breakfast at the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom?
Decent prices, pretty setting. Really good food (especially the puffed french toast and breakfast lasagna!).

And it's nice and close to Fantasyland. So if you make your ADRs for before the park opens, you should be able to beat the crowd to a lot of the attractions.

Oh man, what am I going to do?!? Too many choices! All of them sound so yummy, but I'll only have 6 table credits!! hahah, and I have to save some of them for dinner (Le Cellier, Whispering Canyon and Coral Reef or top on our lists). Maybe I should make a poll of breakfast places and see which ones win...

I voted for Crystal Palace because each member of my family always enjoys
the breakfast there. Beautiful setting & the food is good. MY DS loves the made to order pancakes. There's a nice variety- puffed french toast, eggs, fruit, yogurt & pastries. Last year we went to Tusker house, the new home for Donald's breakfast & were very happy with it. good luck deciding.

I voted for Crystal Palace as it is the favorite of the ones you've listed that we have done (we do CP every year). Now, we are trying Boma this year so I don't know if that will change. I've ready eally good reviews for Boma's breakfast.

Also, Garden Grill does not do breakfast. They only serve dinner.

No breakfast at Garden Grill? At first that's what I thought, but on wdwinfo.com they had a breakfast menu listed... I wonder how current it is.

Well I love Boma but that is buffet (I voted for Boma) but for a ts I love Kona and for characters I love Cp:rotfl:

The breakfast at 1900 Park Fare in the GF is out of this world :cloud9:
It is a buffet Character Breakfast :)

Love the food at Boma, the characters at Chef Mickey's, and for a quiet beginning to the day Trail's End is not too busy, plus they have Mickey waffles!

We have only done Akershus for breakfast so far. We were never huge on the table service restaurants. But when we visit WDW in May, we will be doing 5 breakfasts: Akershus, Chef Mickey's, Ohana, Crystal Palace, and Tusker House. We are really looking forward to these.:woohoo:

IMO, you are missing the two best table service breakfasts at WDW - The Wave (contemporary) and Kona (Polynesian). It looks like you are focusing mostly on buffet breakfasts, so given that, I voted for CP, but it is really a tie between Boma and CP.

Actually, I didn't even realize most of them were buffet breakfasts. But I'm ok with buffets. And I didn't know The Wave served breakfast. I'll have to check them out as well. Actually we're thinking of upgrading to the Deluxe dining plan, so we could do breakfast every day if we wanted!! That would broaden things up a bit... So what does Kona and the Wave offer for breakfast?

Kona is a much better TS spot than any you have listed. As is Spoodles. And Olivia's. And the GF Cafe.
