We are DVC members and will be eating breakfast at "home" during our Christmas stay.

DH says he wants to do at least one breakfast out. He doesn't care if it is a character meal or not. We are staying @ SSR and will be using the Disney bus transportation.

Here is our dining PS during our stay

Cinderella's Gala Feast for dinner @ 1900 Park Fare

Hollywood & Vine for Fantasmic Dinner Package

The Garden Grill for the CP Package

and we have a down day of Disney Quest for DH & DD while I shop. Later that night we have Cirque tickets for 6:00 pm. So, we figured a later breakfast around 10:00 am. We can't figure out if we should eat before Cirque or after and where? If all else fails we will order pizza to eat back @ "Home"

I am leaning towards Chef Mickey's or Cape May for breakfast.

The last dinner I am not sure about:confused:

In the DD area, you can't go wrong with Portobello Yacht Club for dinner. House of Blues would be my second choice.

We have a 7 year old DD that is traveling with us. Do you think the YC and/or HOB would be good for her as well?

Certainly. We've seen kids that age at each place every time we've dined at PYC and HOB.
Should add however that if your DD is the sort that likes to be entertained at dinner, then Rainforest cafe may be an alternate choice. I'm not much on the food there (TGIF'ish in my opinion) but seeing all the animated animals and the noise seems to entertain lots of kids--the place is always packed.

We tried Cape May on our last visit and absolutely loved it!! I already have made 2 ps's for Cape May breakfast on our upcoming trip. It is the best breakfast buffet and character meal that we have had at Disney and we have tried most. Wonderful service, fabulous all you can eat food, and great character interaction! ::MinnieMo

Boma's buffet sounds phenomenal...you might want to consider that one...I know you'd have the TTC transfer, so you'd have to allow plenty of time, but if you scheduled it on an AK morning, you could go directly there from breakfast.

1900 Park Fare was also wonderful!

We like going to the character breakfast at Crystal Palace in MK on a non-EE day. You can make a PS for 8:05-8:15, get into the park early, and be one of the first in line for your favorite ride after you eat. The food at CP is very good too.
