Breakfast Worth the Trip

We are doing Boma for breakfast on a Saturday morning in November. Haven't been yet. We are using that day as a resort hopping day so it works for us. We couldn't get Toppolino's - hardest reservation to get in the WD-World.

We loved breakfast at The Wave. Not sure if it is the same now that it is Steakhouse 71.

We rarely do breakfast at WDW. However, the one we will do is Boma on our last day. Haven't been there since it reopened to know if its still as good.

Highly recommend Kona for breakfast - we always have a breakfast there when staying at the Floridian. That said, we don't make a separate trip if we are staying at a non-walkable resort.

another vote for Kona. i have dreams about those macadamia nut pancakes. Also Ale and Compass.

I should've noted - the reason I only just tried Ohana is that Kona has always been my go-to (it started with the fact that I couldn't ever get an Ohana reservation and then fell in love with Kona). So, I'll definitely second people naming Kona! (I also love eating breakfast at restaurants, way more than any other meal)

Hey Everyone,

Currently have a trip booked (through dreams unlimited travel) for 10/23-10/30. I’ve made a few breakfast reservations, but am planning to probably cancel them based on what I’ve heard about Disney world breakfast (especially considering the fact that I won’t eat buffet eggs). What are your favorite breakfast spots that are worth going out of your way/missing an hour of two of park time for?

Ale and Compass at the Yacht Club and Kona Cafe at Polynesian.

We used to do pre-park opening breakfast at Crystal Palace back when my daughter was 3 (she’s 20 now.) Now we eat breakfast in the room and schedule a nice sit down lunch. It’s nice to be in the AC after touring in the heat all morning.

Trattoria al Forno is good, but I think Ale & Compass is the best that is currently open for breakfast that I have done. The absolute best to me is Garden Grill. Tusker House is pretty good too but not as good right now with family style as it was with the buffet. The choices are too limiting.

I personally love Kona Cafe breakfast. We try to line it up on MK day so we aren't losing too much park time.

Topolino’s at the Riviera Resort—IF you can snag a reservation! Seriously, we enjoyed a late breakfast there a couple of weeks ago, and it was delicious … probably the BEST breakfast we’ve ever had at a WDW resort. We will definitely enjoy breakfast there again!

Do you know what the latest breakfast time is that they offer?

Those saying no Breakfast at Disney is worth it, have never had the Cinderella Royal Table Breakfast. Both the stuffed french toast and the Beef tenderloin are outstanding!

We just ate there on Wed. and had a 12:05 ADR, we were among the last wave of guests. Loved it, esp. for our last day before heading home. I don't know if I'd take time out of a park day unless I was staying at least a week (or staying at Riviera), but on a non park day it was perfect.
