My family will be in the park Easter Sunday...we don't have reservations at Carnation Cafe which we normally do on our last day...I don't want to make reservations. Where can we eat a yummy breakfast without reservations? Thank you!

Hmmm.. Easter could make it difficult... but one thought is Surf's Up in the Paradise Pier Hotel - we have always been able to get in there (although never tried on a holiday). It's a character buffet with Mickey and it's lots of fun (and a bit off the beaten path).

I would eat breakfast in DTD. La Brea Bakery has a great breakfast and I also like Tortilla Joes Taqueria. Earl of Sandwich also serves breakfast. Another place is Galactic Grill in tomorrowland but I've never eaten there before.

Have you checked to see if there are any reservations available? That might give you an idea of what to expect. I did a search for 2pp and the only restaurants with availability are Catal, Goofy's, RFC, ans Steakhouse 55.

We like Jazz Kitchen for breakfast. They have french toast beignets, breakfast bowls, burritos etc.

Jolly Holiday has a delicious croissant breakfast sandwich served with fruit. We love to eat there and find a place to sit near the hub and people watch to start our day!

Rancho was my go to breakfast spot, until they moved it to the Tavern in Feb.

The menu is quite different and not nearly as good. Pancakes are also smaller. I've voiced my disapproval. I hope others will too.

Bummer! We always loved getting breakfast at Rancho if we didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, it was sooo good. I wonder why they switched over?

Maybe grab some pastries from Jolly Holiday, or a churro and some hot chocolate from those carts in front of the castle? The cart by Haunted Mansion has those huge warm cinnamon rolls that can be shared.

I miss the breakfast at River Belle Terrace, which was a Disneyland classic since Opening Day! At least they kept a few classics when it shifted over to Rancho, and there was still some good scenery with Big Thunder right next door.

Now I see the menu at Red Rose Tavern has 5 options, well, 6 if you count the 2 pancake meals. And 3 of them feature 'lemon bechamel sauce'. So much for variety...

At least the Mickey pancake survives, and maybe I'll just lug it all the way over to the Rivers of America and find myself a seat with a view!
