Hey guys... I was thinking of using some of our snack credits to get some breakfast items at Roaring Forks... Does anyone know if muffins, donuts and bagels are considered snacks?

We were at W.L. and got bagels/creams cheese for snacks for breakfast.

They did have other pastry type items, but we did not get them. If you are considering donuts it might work out less $ to go to the gift shop and buy a box of donuts (about $4.50 and I think there are either 6 or 12?)
This will be a much better value, because it will feed more, and free up more snack credits for icecream.:rolleyes1

I thought bagels counted as a snack, I just could not remember for sure....Good point about the donuts.... We love the muffins at RF... Hope muffins are on the plan too.

Oops-just ignore me-I read the info incorrectly.

We used most of our snack credits for breakfast at POFQ in February. We usually got muffins, yogurt, or fruit. A single serve package of cereal and a carton of milk is also only one snack credit! We were so full from all the food on the dining plan that we really didn't need snacks and paid out of pocket when did get them. I think the only actual snacks we really got were pineapple floats at Aloha Isle!

I know it was at POP instead....but we used 1 snack credit and bought a box of Entemanns donuts for breakfast several times.

I don't think the box of entemanns donuts are on the snack dining plan for 2008?:confused3
We did this last year too, I asked when we were there in Jan.(2008) and they said it was not offered for 2008. (they looked it up on some paper sheet)

Hope they were wrong, because it would be great :wizard:

They were right. As of 2008, it's single serving items only for the snack credit.

If you plan on using a snack credit for breakfast, I highly recommend trying the cinnamon roll at the Main Street Bakery in MK. It was huge and easily enough for 2 people

We had no problem using up snack credits, but had some CS credits to "play with" on our final day. With the ease (due to quantity) of sharig CS meals, don't rule out using a CS credit for breakfast (2 beverages, entree- check to see if one or more pastries count as an entree). I believe at a place like MSB you could get a breakfast sandwich, pastry and beverage (2?) for the CS credit. Hopefully RF would be similar. There are so many yummy snacks in WDW I'm glad we did this and and saved snacks for snacking.

...we used our snack credit just about every day at Roaring Fork for the yogurt parfait (with lots of fruit and granola). My DW and I never tired of it and found it quite filling and more than enough energy to get us through to our CS lunch. My DKs usually had a croissant or bagel after the first day.

For drink, we bought the refillable mugs, which meant free coffee every morning, a soda for our afternoon pool dip, and a nice lemonade for the jacuzzi at night.

BTW, we used one of our TS credits each for a dinner at WCC with the skillet for all four of us. Since the food was so plentiful, we only ordered 2 sweet desserts and 2 orders of the fresh fruit plate. We didn't touch the fruit, but asked for a "to go" container, which we put in our fridge for a great breakfast share plate the next morning for my DW and I. This saved us two snack credits which we used later in the week for 2 pineapple floats at Aloha Isle in MK.

What a great idea about the fruit at WCC... I love getting the mugs too...

I like getting the apples with carmel dip for a snack/breakfast but the kids will go for the bagels and muffins... So glad that we can use the snack credits for breakfast!

I have to agree with this one - one cinnamon roll is more than enough and really tasty too::yes::

You can share the skillet at WCC???? I didn't know that, that would be something great to share with my kids on the DDP and only use one TS credit.

No!! The PP said one TS EACH. You all need to use a TS, but the skillet is filled for everyone to share out of. You don't get indiviual skillets if more than one person has ordered it.

Oops Thanks for clearing that up! I should pay better attention when scanning through the posts. :goodvibes

Sorry for being unclear. By "share", I meant that we all agreed to order it and share it. So we did use all four TS credits for this meal.

oops...I just realized that someone already clarified this point. Unfortunately, I do not know how to delete posts.
