I want to sign up for Disney Dining but I like to eat breakfast and then one additional meal.

Any suggestions or good breakfast experiences? Are any counter service restaurants open for breakfast?

Depending on where you are staying you might be able to use your CS for breakfast(examples would be food courts like at Values/Moderates). This is my favorite for Breakfast http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/men_ccmb.htm also we had breakfast at the ABC commisary

Another option is doing a Character Breakfast(think Brunch) at around 10:30-11:00 - Some of my Favorites are Chef Mickey, 1900 Park Fare, Cape May, Crystal Palace(This would use your TS)...and then using you CS for a dinner at what ever park you are in.

The food court at POR has a decent CS breakfast with lots of choices, as does the AP at SSR. If you are at SSR or OKW it's a boat-ride away. I've never tried to stop and eat a CS breakfast in the parks.

AP (SSR) menu:

POR menu:

Riverside:http://allearsnet.com/menu/men_ccmb.htm

The other DVC resorts have more limited CS breakfast options, but you can always get breakfast-type sandwiches or bakery items there as well.

If you let us know where you are staying we can help more with some choices.

But all the parks have at least one CS open in the am. You can also sometimes use your snack credit for a breakfast item....most pastries, yogurt parfaits, etc.

Are you interested in table service options for breakfast as well? Wasn't sure from your post.

SSR has a really good breakfast selection at AP. They have breakfast platters with sausage bacon eggs and pancakes or waffles and hashbrowns. They also have a Breakfast Flatbread that was really good.

You cant get a dessert if you use a counter service for breakfast, but they have many snack items to choose from also like a box of donuts.

That's a good idea to use counter credits for breakfast. A nice breakfast and a midday snack would hold us until dinner and we wouldnt feel stuffed all day. :thumbsup2
