Breakfast suggestions????

Traveling to the World in September with 5 Disney Moms (Divas!) to celebrate a 40th birthdaty...half of our party just drink coffee in the morning and want to be @rope drop...the other half (including me!) enjoy breakfast foods but don't want to slow the group down...will have DDP (for free!) for the first time so not familiar with all the ins and outs...what quick meals can we get at each park when we get there (I know about Main Street Bakery in the MK and Starring Rolls @DS) will they count as snack or CS credits???

Personally, I'd skip stopping at any quick service restaurant...take poptarts or something similar. Rope-drop time is run-for-the-best-rides time, not stop for breakfast. But, if you have to buy something, if you're staying on-site, the counter service restaurants at the resorts all have things like breakfast rolls available, too. And basically, you can get any single-service item worth up to $4.00 with a snack credit. There are many single items at the bakeries mentioned, like chocolate croissant or cinnamon roll. Typically, these are large single servings. You'd have to pay OOP for your coffee, but that would make more sense than using a counter-service credit for a roll & coffee. Save your counter service for lunch, better value for your free DDP.

You do have your reservations for all your table service already, don't you? If not, get it figured out & get on the phone, girl! There really is no walk-up table service available during Free Dining.

I think you can use snack credits for the mainstreet bakeshop and starring rolls, but if you get 2 pastries and a drink, it will count as CS so just ask and make sure before you purchase.

I say split up and meet at the park. Those who miss rope drop can enjoy a CS breakfast at the resort.
