One of our mornings we plan on focusing on Frontierland section - we might get breakfast at the resort - either in room or resort QS, but i also wanted to know what are some good options for breakfast type items in this section of MK. Just QS or a cart with items.

I don't think there is anywhere in Frontierland that has breakfast. You could always get something at Starbucks/Main Street Bakery on MSUSA. Your next best option would be Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square (just over the bridge right off the hub). It kind of borders Frontierland, so maybe close enough?

If the plan is Rope Drop, eating breakfast before you arrive is better.

In part, because Disney promotes their Dining Plan, the Qwik Serve options can have longer waits than the rides.

I do recall some carts along the street in Frontier Land, but I'm not sure they have anything for breakfast other than very-sugary pastries.

There is a cart in frontier Land that has a really good bfast sandwich when I went in dec. It was something along the lines of a black peppercorn bacon egg and cheese on a croissant. It was really tasty and decent price for the size. It was the food station directly across from the country bears. They also had some tables set up outside. I also think they have hot and ice coffees.

That sounds really good!!

It sounds like you may be talking about this cart:

Unfortunately, they are only open during the very busiest weeks of the year, so they may not be open during your trip.
