I was trying to think of things I needed to buy for my trip, and I know, I still have 100+ days, but, what are some good breakfast and / or snack items that,

1. Aren't breakable / smashable.
2. Prefarably come in single serving containers / pouches.
3. Won't get messy. (A.K.A - melt, I was thinking of fruit snacks, but they get wierd in the heat.
4. Aren't perishable.

I won't, unless I get lucky, have a fridge in my room. And I'm reling on Disney transpo, so I won't be stopping at any stores - so I need things that travel well, but don't take up tons on space.

I was thinking of Pop Tarts, but they used to smash when I took them to school, so I doubt they'd make it through a theme park.

The best, and well, only thing I've thought of so far is rice krispie treats - but I can't live on them alone.

Granola bars hold up pretty good. We usually also bring breakfast bars, but they can get squished pretty easily. They sell milk cartons in most of the food courts, so you could maybe bring a box of dry cereal and use their milk.

For snacks, Pringles have those single serving tubes.

DH and I took a big container of Costco granola and a few ziploc baggies. I filled a bag each morning and we snacked as we waited for the bus and ropedrop.

We take granola bars and also trail mix (we put it in little baggies) and that works well. No smushing or melting there. Also, small boxes of raisins or nuts. I guess we kinda graze in the morning!

We took bagels for breakfast (and a small jar of peanut butter) and they held up pretty good. I did also use breakfast bars but they might smash up like poptarts. There are these new Sweet and Salty Granola bars - they seem sturdier -- that is if you don't eat ALL of them the first two days -- they are good! :teeth:

You could put your pop tarts in tupperware containers so they don't get squished. Then you have the containers for on the way home if needed.

I would eat breakfast in the room and then you can take your poptarts, bagels, cereal we did that once.
On the same trip I bought a big box of cheezits and several cans of pringles and some crackers (cheese and pb) and a box of snack size ziplocs and had a snack for everyone..
