We currently have reservations for the Plaza Inn at 9:30 but the park doesn't open until 10:00 on the day we will be there. We will not have extra magic hours so will we be allowed into the park for our reservation? Is so what do we need for proof?

I believe you just meet a CM at the dining gate at the main gate (off to the side). They have your names and will walk ya back to the Plaza Inn. You do need to have your park passes. I don't recall if I had to show them any other ID though. At least that is what I have experienced in the past.

There will be a line (it used to be on the far left) with signage for "Minnie and Friends Breakfast." You don't need EMH/early entry privileges. They will have your reservation on a list and you will have to have your park tickets ready in order to enter. We did this option a couple of years ago when our large extended family of 12 went for a day trip right after Christmas. It's a great way to extend your park day when you aren't staying at one of the on-site hotels or do not have a 3-day hopper.
