Is this do-able? We're staying at All-Star Movies and leaving on a Saturday, flight at 5:40 p.m. Breakfast reservation at Tusker House at Animal Kingdom at 10 a.m. - it's our one must-have dining reservation b/c Daisy is there, and it's the only time I could find the whole week.. Would the timing be cutting it too close? If you think it would work, what would our gameplan be - do we check out first, how do we arrange luggage etc..? This is our first trip to Disney:) Thanks!

oh and of course in the meantime I'm continuing to search for other available times.. :)

Assuming you're in the states, it should be doable. A 5:40 flight out means ME should pick you up around 2:30ish, placing you back at ASMo no later than 2pm. With breakfast taking 1 hr on average, you'd be done by around 11am, so there should be plenty of time. (Even if international, there should be time, though it'd be arguably closer with ME picking up around 1:30ish). I'd be at the bus stop for ASMo no later than 1pm. There'll be some leeway here, but it's better to err on the side of caution when dealing with getting back for ME since getting there early means you get to walk around the resort, getting there late can mean finding your own way to the airport (or worse).

For luggage, you can pack up before you head out, and then bring it to Bell Services at the resort before you go (including your Carry Ons), they'll store it there for you to pick up when you check in for the ME ride home.

We have done it few time and it is very do-able! We always check out first and leave the carry on luggage there. All you have to do is make sure you are back around 20 minutes before the ME pick up to get your carry on and get to the bus and from the looks of it you have plenty of time. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Go and have fun!

I have the same question. Staying at All Sports and flight to Buffalo, NY at 2:30pm with Air Tran. We can do check in and drop off luggage at the resort before breakfast. I was thinking of a 7am or 7:15am Chef Mickey or 7:30am Ohana or 8am 1900 Park Fare.

Which one would be better, it doesn't matter which characters. We have not done any of these before.
