DH and i are traveling to DL for the 1/2 marathon weekend later this month. Right now, we have 8:30 am reservations at the Plaza for a MM (8-9 am). Should I move that reservation to later to benefit during that early hour? Or is it fine to leave it?

It is the only early-ish morning we plan to be in the parks together because I'll be volunteering the 5k and running DDD, so we probably won't hit the parks until late morning on our other days.

Thanks for any advice!

I would probably move it to a later time and take advantage of your MM. The parks are going to be very crowded that weekend. Another idea is to move your ADR to after your 10K. My DD and I were there for the 2014 Tinkerbell 1/2 Marathon and lots of people were there celebrating after the 10K. If you can't change your ADR, I would just go ahead and keep it and make the most of FastPasses that day.

If it were me and I had a ticket that gave me early entry (we are AP holders that don't stay onsite so no MM for us), I would definitely change the reservation to later that morning so we could take advantage of MM.

What a strange sentence that ended up being! :rotfl:

I agree ... change it! You don't want to miss any of your early entry time. Personally we never eat in the parks for breakfast unless it's a really late breakfast (like 11) because that's prime ride time. But make it at least 30 minutes after regular park opening at the very least. And grab your first FP before you eat.

Thanks so much for the feedback! You all confirmed what I was thinking. but since I've never been to DL, I wanted to ask the experts!
