So we're going on the Deluxe DDP and trying to plan this all out we have some left over meal credits I'm trying to place. Originally we hadn't planned on doing breakfasts since we aren't big morning eaters and figured we could spend the extra credits on Signature restaurants, character dining, and such. Now I'm thinking doing a breakfast or two to get into the parks early might be fun. So here's my questions.

1) How is Tusker House for breakfast and how does it compare to Boma? I think the kids will have more fun at Tusker.

2)The boys do not want to go to Akershus but is there anywhere else in Epcot for breakfast? I don't want to have us get in early but have to leave them to meet us later it's not really fair to all the kids if only the girls get in early.

3) Is Kona worth doing twice, I hate to repeat at all since this is our first trip but Kona breakfast looks like something I could eat everyday.

4) What's a good use of a couple extra meal credits?

Although this wasn't something you mentioned, I'm a big supporter of the Crystal Palace breakfast with Pooh and friends in the MK! Just to throw out another option...

I also agree with the PP on Crystal Palace - it is a must do on all our vacations!

Since you mentioned Kona, which isn't inside a park, I'm assuming you are not only looking for in-park dining. If that is the case, I HIGHLY recommend Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. You will be able to walk over to EPCOT after and the food here is delicious. It is also a character breakfast with Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale and they are all in their swimsuits.

We liked Tusker House, it was good and there was a parade thing led by Mickey that was cute.
At Epcot, Akershus is the only one with a breakfast that will get you in early. I suggest you find some photos of the food there (look in the sticky thread here) and show your boys. Explain you can get into that park early and see what they say. They don't have to do the pics/autograph with the Princesses. My dd5 didn't do any of that with them, only my dd8 wanted to. It was not a problem whatsoever. Also, perhaps you can compromise that if you all eat breakfast there, the boys can decide on what the first ride will be that you go on after breakfast.

Kona--YUMMY, even though I am not crazy about Tonga Toast. We would definately go twice.

Extra meal credits--we used extra meal credits to buy "extra meals". For example, at Kona, we used an extra meal credit to get the fruit plate breakfast and an extra drink. Also used some for days when we had a long stretch b/w meals and my 16 yo with a hollow leg grabbed a burger and fries to hold him over. What about a signature meal for the adults with extra credits?

1. I have heard TH referred to as Boma lite....we are huge Boma lovers but wouldnt mind trying TH one day...prob is we hardly ever make it to AK

2. Why not try Cape May instead and then walk over to Epcot?

3. Kona is totally worth going to twice but why not try Ohana or GFC?

We are doing Crystal Palace while we are there, can't miss Pooh!

I had thought about an Ohana Breakfast, so that's a possibility :) And we are almost certainly adding Chef Mickey's for breakfast I think that the kids will love that.

I'm going to talk to the boys this weekend to see if they would be willing to do Akershus for breakfast but I think we may not win that one LOL, I hadn't realized Cape May was so close to Epcot, that might be our winner :)

I love the idea of getting "extra meals" with the extra credits I hadn't thought of that.

I really want to try Boma, I think I may just do that instead of Tusker house.
