Breakfast Question for you all???

Besides doing the character breakfasts, what other ideas or suggestions do you have for breakfast??

I've seen ppl talk about the Whitewater snacks, and the Carnation Cafe.

Does anyone have any other tips or suggestions??

On Harbor Street across from Disneyland is Dennys and I hop (I prefer I HOp there)

Sometimes we eat cereal in the hotel room when we have a refrigerator for milk

We have eaten at Le Bre Bakery in Down Town Disney and its pretty good. I like their chocolate crossants and my husband prefers to get eggs and bacon there.

Rainforest has a very different breakfast menu. My husband didnt like it but I did. He doesnt like vegetables in his breakfast

Sometimes we eat very light in the hotel room and get breakfast at that place at the end of the Le Brea tour in California Adventure. They serve eggs in a bread bowl.

A couple times I have eaten in New Orleans Square at a fast food place (its by the tree house) we usually get a Mickey pancake or eggs and sausage there.

I always see a long line on Main street at a bakery type shop too but I dont like to wait that long to get food so I never tried it.

A couple times I have eaten at a little sit down restaurant near the pool at the disneyland hotel (Sorry the name isnt in my head right now)

As you can see by my list I rarely skip breakfast. we usually skip lunch or dinner if not hungry but breakfast to me is most important and I have never done a character breakfast at Disneyland

We like the breakfast at Carnation on main street, Riverbell Terrace in NOS for Mickey pancakes, or club buzz for a quick start to the day. The dennys and ihop in the area both charge more then a normal denny's / ihop somewhere else. For the price I would rather eat in the park.

I've recently read a couple of rave reviews for the Eggs Benedict at Granvilles. Probably a bit pricey, but if it's a big enough breakfast to allow skipping lunch and having an early dinner it should be ok. It might be a bit to formal for little ones, but you didn't mention any children.

We typically have muffins, breakfast bars, juice, etc. at the hotel before we get to the park and then have an early lunch, midafternoon snack and late dinner.

Also, Mimi's Cafe across the street from DL entrance is another great choice for breakfast.

If we're styaing on harbor by the entrance, dh will do morning runs to mcdonald's while the kdis are gretting ready. Our kids think it's such a treat to get breakfasts from McDonald's. LOL! We also enjoyed Storyteller's on our last trip. Ds is a big breakfast eater and needs his protein in the morning.

La Brea Bakery at the DL end of DTD - nice place to sit outside. Counter service breakfast - great choices..... We really enjoy it!

We loved the croissant sandwich thing they served at club buzz. They had several different breakfast choices and we found ourselves eating there almost every day it was so good. Plus it's right next to space mountain, autopia, and buzz light year astro blasters. Nothing like hitting those rides first thing in the morning before they get crazy crowded.

I do think I will try some of these other options on our next trip though. They sound good...but don't get me wrong, club buzz will probably feed us breakfast a couple times when we are there in May
