Breakfast Problem

Ok so I've been trying to be healthier lately, and I am guillty of never eating breakfast :( I know bad bad me. I've mostly been able to do it just fine. I've got enough time in the morning, and there is ALWAYS oatmeal on hand.

I've just got one problem, eating breakfast makes me really really queasy. I can't eat breakfast without getting sick! I have to leave for school around 7:00 AM, and lunch is around 10:30. I can't really eat at school, so has anyone ever had this problem and found a way to fix it? Or is it just something I'll eventually get used to?
 
I have a really hard time eating breakfast as well. I try to eat something small like a piece of toast or something so I don't get queasy. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I avoid anythind sweet in the morning as well. For some reason cereal, oatmeal that type of thing makes me really sick:sick:
 
I was never a big breakfast eater before I started dieting. Now I can't wait for breakfast! It's my favorite meal of the day! You might want to start out small like a yogurt or a smoothie or instant oatmeal or even a cereal bar with skim milk to start your day and work your way up from their. Currently, I eat whole wheat cereal with a sprinkle of raisins and skim milk for breakfast during the week and eggs and breakfast meat (on a whole wheat english muffin) on the weekends.
 
Yeah, I had oatmeat again today and it was better. Maybe it's something I need to get used to.....
 

Well, if lunch is 10:30, then you shouldn't eat much anyway. What about protein smoothies? I mix one scoop whey protein, milk, some berries, and some sugar free/fat free Jello powder.

If lunch is at 10:30 when do you eat next? That is so early!
 
Eh, if I remember to pack a snack like thing usually around 2:30. If I forget, around 3:30.
 
I have the same problem with breakfast. I dont like eaggs or oatmeal i actually for queasy if i eat that stuff. So i got the slimfast ultimia (sp???) it has less sugar and the choc. and van. are Very good. it feels me up and it tastes like i,m not on a diet. i only drink them in the morining.
 
DD17 had the same issue and I asked her to keep trying. She has to eat around 7 am too. I bought her the mini thomas' bagels and she eats one of those toasted with a tiny bit of peanut butter or margarine or lite cream cheese. Now she is used to it and doesn't get nauseous from eating in the a.m.
