im starting to plan our wish list for dining (still have two months before our ADR window opens up), and we usually like to try new places each visit.

We usually have primarily our evening meals as TS, but I feel like the character we meals we want to experience, are better for breakfast!

We had to cancel our Chef Mickey’s reservation last trip so that’s definitely one Iwill try and get for breakfast.

We ended up cancelling our Trattoria El Forno breakfast on our departure day our last trip as the airline rescheduled our flights - do they have characters for other meals, or just breakfast?

We’d like to try Crystal Palace on a MK day, but do you recommend breakfast there as well?

My daughter has requested BOGagain this trip.....yup, for breakfast!

We also have Cape May on the list, but I think I will skip the characters, and go for seafood.

I feel like if I ate that many waffles, I might actually explode!

I've done Chef Mickey's for breakfast. It's definitely not my favorite, but if the kids like the characters it is a good place to see them. I would think out of all the meals they offer, breakfast probably has the most edible. I've been to Cape May for breakfast and really enjoyed it. When we do breakfasts we usually schedule later in the morning. That way you can rope drop and get in a few rides before going.

Our favorite breakfast with characters is 1900 Park Fare- and we're all adults! We like to plan a late breakfast- they usually serve until 11:45 am. The crowds thin out and we have a leisurely meal with lots of character interaction! It also fills us up and we're set until dinner!

If you're paying OOP, breakfast is typically more cost effective than dinner for character meals.

Trattoria al Forno only has characters for breakfast.

We love breakfast at Crystal Palace.

Us too! We are each picky in different ways.....and we all love the CP breakfast. Plus it's a beautiful setting with all of the greenery and light streaming in the windows. My guys don't like to eat a big meal first thing in the morning...we like a 10:30 ADR so we can hit some rides and then have a late breakfast that ends up serving as an early lunch.

Chef Mickey's - we love breakfast there!

Cape May Cafe - breakfast and dinner are amazing. We can never decide so we do both lol.

Crystal Palace - we have done both dinner and breakfast, but we always return for the breakfast.

I have never been to BOG for breakfast. Lunch is actually our favorite there.

We are adults that love to do a few character breakfasts a trip usually CP, Cape May, and Tusker House. We get an ADR for when places first open.

This is helpful.

I was leaning towards Crystal Palace for breakfast, but I never thought of Tusker House. I’m going to try for the dining/entertainment meal at Animal Kingdom :thumbsup2

In my opinion it depends on how important the rides are to you. With the crazy crowds these days we find the only sane time to ride is first thing when the parks open which rules out breakfast for us.

We recently at Chef Mickey breakfast, and it was just ok. Definitely nothing special. Our server actually had to walk us across the restaurant to go meet Pluto and Donald because they never came to our table when we were there for an hour and a half. The food was kind of meh... I remember the breakfast potatoes being freaking amazing. Waffles, bacon, pancakes, etc. are the usual good go to's, nothing special but it'll fill you up. The ham though? It was absolutely awful. Not only did it taste bad, but it was kind of mushy, and meat is not supposed to be mushy like that. All in all, I'm glad we did it once because it was fun, but I wouldn't pay for it again.

Crystal Palace is one of our favorites and we've eaten there several times for breakfast. We always have more than one visit with the characters, food is plentiful and actually really good, and the serving staff is always awesome. We normally try and get a pre park opening reservation so we can have a good breakfast before the park officially opens, and then still be out there in line when the ropes go down.

Cape May we've done both breakfast and dinner and have enjoyed both immensely. Their breakfast is actually one of my favorite buffets. The dinner is excellent too, and I don't even eat sea food. We went there so my mom could eat her weight in crab legs, and she did lol. But even not being a sea food eater I found plenty to eat and left extremely full.

We just did dinner at crystal palace and both thought it was pretty meh as far as food goes. We just didn’t feel like it was anything to write home about but the atmosphere and characters were great. Our server also looked like she absolutely did not want to be there.

We did 1900 pf for breakfast last trip and really liked it. The characters were amazing and I really liked the red velvet pancakes with cream cheese frosting. Dh liked the strawberry soup and the waitress even gave us a recipe card to take home.

I don't see Garden Grill on your wish list. It was our favorite character meal, and yes, we booked it for breakfast. Service was outstanding and the food was really good. The characters? SO. MUCH. FUN!

I know you like breakfast, however I woudl also consider Minnie's Seasonal DIne in DHS if you want to see them in their Halloween Finery. REally cute, and again a favorite in terms of interaction. The food was okay too.
