Breakfast on the farm was today!

oh, we had such a good time at the farm this morning. if anyone knows how to set up breakfast this group does. this is held every june (dairy month) and it is held on a different farm every year. it is held in our county and a few counties surrounding us.

for $5 it's all you can eat pancakes and you get a serving of scrambled eggs, sausage, apple sauce and milk/coffee.

they have sundaes for $1 that come with chocolate or strawberries and are huge (sorry no photos of the sundae).

i think we need to get a hold of these supplies for the halloween gg. lol

so, this is where the breakfast was held this year.

hang on frank, i am getting to that.

there was plenty for the kids to do. there animals to pet (even kittens and bunnies that were given away) and this tractor ride.

But this was the coolest. they had tractor peddle pulls. yup, the kids went on the pedal tractors and had a trailer attached to see how far they could pull it.

Here is the smoker and they had probably 3-4 grills goin' with sausages.

now for the eggs. this is the recipe we need to follow for the october gg. who will bring the frying pan?

cause this is the frying pan they use.

Don't them eggs look good!

now how about them all you can eat pancakes. again they had at least 4 double griddles set up. and this, this is how you make pancakes.

Bring 'em on! who's gonna bring the pancake mix?

and last but, not least.... the meal. oh yeah, you can't forget after this you had to go get your $1 sundae.

they had samples of beefsticks and string cheese. fresh vegies for sale. just a lot to do and really a fun morning.

then it was time to head back. so, we hopped back on our "country tram". lol
