Does anyone have any good suggestions for places to eat a good breakfast on a budget?? Thanks for any suggestions. Pixie-Girl 29

Try Perkin's. They are cheap and good IMO. :D

We also sometimes buy cereal and milk and pastries to eat in our room.

I don't know of a cheap place to eat but I agree with the breakfast stuff you keep in your hotel room. Last year when we went we took pop-tarts, cereal, etc and had a quick breakfast in our room before we went to EE and then we ate an early lunch(around 11). It saved a lot of money and with us eating an early lunch the crowds were not bad. We leave in 16 days and I plan on doing the same.

Have a great trip!!

Thanks for the reply Guys. Im planning on taking stuff to eat in our room too. Hope you have a nice trip too!!

I dont know if its "cheap" enough but Sizzler and Golden Corral have nice buffets for breakfast and you can really chow.

i read on here somewhere (trip report maybe) that Trails End at Ft Wilderness has a great buffet breakfast for $9.99/adult and $5.99/child. thats not exactly cheap (disney standards, yes), but the person said they got the take-out boxes (came with a big box, small box and cup i think), and one take-out meal fed at least two people. you can stuff the boxes full of food, even the cup (mmmm, grits!!!).

So if someone is willing to run and grab some stuff, it could be a nice, hot breakfast for two for around $10! Cereal, bagels and muffins tend to get old after a few days. :)

if you're staying at a hotel room w/o a fridge, there's this milk called parmalate that doesn't need fridgeration when it's unopened. I am a very picky person and I think it tastes fine!

A lot of the resorts also have toasters/toaster ovens in the food courts you can use. Maybe take some english muffins to the food court and fill up your mugs. -Stephanie

We drive and bring a foam cooler with food for the way down. Once at WDW, we keep it filled with ice and do a grocery stop for yogurt smoothies and cereal bars.

I'm not sure where you are staying, but some off-site hotels offer free breakfasts. You can't get much cheaper than free!

We are staying at Double Tree Guest Suites and getting a free continental breakfast. Check out Mary's site Mousesavers.com for other deals at her preferred hotels.

Depending on how much you eat for breakfast, Earl of Sandwich can be a great bargain.
They have breakfast sandwiches (bagels) that two could split and be fine, unless either one likes a larger size breakfast.
We generally are not big breakfast eaters and one day each ordered one. We commented we could have shared one and been fine.
Or could make a good price brunch.

We just got back from a 9 day stay at the POP. We took breakfast items and kept in the room. Not only did it save a lot of money, more importantly it saved time!!! My DD's were able to eat in the room while I was getting ready and we were out the door and able to avoid crowded food court area in the am. We took pop tarts, applesauce, single serve canned fruit, muffins, pastries etc. Also, if is worth the effort to take snacks for the park too. Of course you are going to spend some money the popcorn and ice cream are so yummy!! But being in the park in the heat makes for a very long day, so carrying no melting snacks and frozen drink boxes were a life saver! It made waiting for the buses a lot nicer after a long day!

I totally lucked out because my youngest daughter's allergy meds need to be refrigerated and because of the medical need, disney provided my fridge for free. Having the fridge in room was very nice, I would say it would be worth the $$$, I have read on these boards that you can rent them from somewhere that is a little cheaper than renting from disney.

If you want to eat on-site, try the Trails End Buffeteria at FW. You can take the boat over from the MK. We always start our MK day out with breakfast here. The food is awesome, service is great, atmosphere is relaxed, they have the best donuts made on-site...YUMMYYYY!!! The value is unbeatable...9.99 for adults, 5.99 for kids all you can eat. Can't say enough about it...it's great!!!
