Breakfast on 7am EE days?

Any suggestions on what to do about breakfast on the days when early entry is at 7am? It appears that the hotel restaurants don't open till 7, so they don't help. Are there any 24hr restaurants at any of the hotels? Or store to pick up some healthy, vegetarian breakfast items? I really prefer to get some protein and complex carbs at the start of the day, and breakfast in the park doesn't seem like a good use of valuable morning time.

We'll be in a Cabana Bay standard room.

There is a Starbucks at Cabana Bay and in Citywalk. They have fruit, oatmeal, sandwiches etc. and of course yummy coffee.

We always frequent Starbucks while onsite at Portofino.

Orchid lounge court at rpr opens at 6:00 am daily
Closes at 11:00 weekdays and noon on weekends

Ala cart set up

Do breakfast there and take the water taxi or walk to the park when done

You will be able to be in line for EE easily at 7:00 then

Neither of us is a coffee drinker, and I sort of soured on Starbucks for breakfast on our trip to Toronto. Because it was a holiday weekend (Canada day), it was the only quick service that was both open and took credit cards. It was ok, but breakfast sandwiches getting boring very quickly.

Sounds perfect, thanks!

How are the lines at Starbucks in City Walk in the morning before park opening time? Our last family vacation was to Disneyland and although Starbucks was in Downtown Disney and we had to walk right by every morning the line was 30-40 minutes every day!!

This is what we do for breakfast when staying at a universal resort. This works especially well when we want to be in the parks super early but also maximize sleep. Last week we stopped at the grocery store (a free 30 min. stop at Publix.). We got yogurt, cereal, milk, croissants, Nutella, fruit, granola, snacks, juice. We also called star service and requested, plates, bowls and cutlery for 4 people, which we washed daily. Once I brought plastic plates and cutlery and just threw it out daily. Everybody was happy with this arrangement. We ate lunch and dinner in the parks, Citywalk or resort. We have coffee in the room but then usually have Starbucks mid morning in the parks.

My DH usually just has yogurt or cereal also, but we are staying at Portofino Bay next trip which does not provide refrigerators, so we would have to pick up a cheap foam cooler also (or bring a collapsible one, which sometimes leaks). I usually just have coffee first thing, and pick up something around 10:00 to eat.

We do something a little different. We go to EE, ride the HP rides for an hour, then stop by either Cresent Moon or the La Bodega (I think that's the one I always get confused by the breakfast place at Universal), they have breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and fruit. Well grab something and eat while we walk. Stopping there literally only takes 5 minutes. If we sit and eat well add 10 minutes.

We've also done breakfast at the Leaky Cauldron and Three Broomsticks for something a little heavier. It was such a part of the HP theming that we didn't consider it wasting ride time (which I totally understand). It felt like an attraction in itself.

Boulangerie
Is the the one you use at the studios?

I love stopping there in the morning

Good excuse for cheesecake before hitting the rides

cabana bay has grab and go stuff and we never hit a line early in the AM. Kind bars are easy to just have in your room. We aren't big breakfast people, especially that early (too early for us but we did it :)).
