Don’t rely on the Disney site. You were given the resources of allears and wdwinfo (that’s the dis) above. They are better.

Thanks all. We are at AKL now. Yes, we are very tired at the end of the day so sleeping in is not a bad thing. We are not as young as we used to be. On day one we tried the breakfast at Mara and we'e underwhelmed (that's an understatement - it was horrible). My wife and I were reminiscing about the fabulous breakfasts served even at ordinary hotels on recent trips to Scandanavia, Italy, and Turkey (and included included the room rate). On day two we just got the yoghurt parfait, fruit, veggies, and a muffin to share on the room. That was OK. Tomorrow we have an appointment at Kona Cafe. I will look into that Sanaa option for one of our last two days.

One last observation. Mara at AKL doesn' have butter at breakfast. They hust have little mini tubs of margarine. I find this hard to believe.

Garden Grill breakfast is really good. It does have characters, but is not a buffet (it's served family style). Not sure if that would meet your criteria or not.
