on our last day we would really like to go to a table service or buffet breakfast. this is our first time at saratoga and it is not looking like our resort or downtown disney offer breakfast restaurants like we are looking for.:confused3
anyone have a suggestion that will not take an hour bus ride to get to??
thanks a bunch!:flower3:

unfortunately no, the Artist Palette is limited to only counter service...it's good but limited. The think I love about SSR is that it is only a 5 min walk from DTD.

Although there's nothing extravagant about it, I've always enjoyed breakfast at Wolfgang Puck Express in DTD.

If your last day happens to fall on a Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday I believe they still do character breakfasts at the old Grosvenor Resort in DTD (think it's called the Regal Sun Resort now).

Best of luck! :thumbsup2

Olivia's--good thinking! I believe the ferry takes you to OKW from SSR.
I will check out their menu....thanks!
I will try Puck's for lunch or another day when we want a "quicker" breakfast....thanks for your input.:flower3:

You will take the ferry from SSR to DTD and then make the loop back to SSR and then OKW! (The ferry picks up the guests at OKW b/f stopping at SSR to pick up.) It sounds like such a roundabout way, but the ride is quite relaxing!

I could (easily) be wrong but I think the ferry stops at SSR in both directions.

That's the good news. The less-than-good news is that it may not start running until Downtown Disney opens, which might preclude a well-timed breakfast at Olivia's.

That's right--I'm not sure the ferry runs early enough for a true breakfast at Olivias.
The ferry from POR runs those same waters (to DD and back) so if you can walk to DD you MAY be able to get the ferry to POR and eat at Boatwrights. Again tho, I'm not sure when thier boats start running (?)

I do drive everywhere now and just valet park at DVC resorts since my DH's illness....

I did not even know there was a ferry to these other resorts. I do like breakfast at Olivia's, they do a decent job there. Artist palette, I am not impressed with, fast food and not even good, I have heard they are working on it. Let's hope for those of us who own there, that they do indeed improve that restaurant.

If not, have the Turf Club do a buffet breakfast, or ala carte, I do think people would eat there if they did it.. They have good food for lunch and dinner..

I agree. Never was impressed with Artist Pallette--food-wise, or how it's served. Olivias does a pretty good breakfast business and I think Turf Club would also. People usually venture out for lunch and dinner, but breakfast at your home resort hotel is attractive to many.
As Mackey Mouse does, we drive and park wherever we want to eat, so when we stayed at SSR, breakfast was no problem. W/o a car--it's something of a problem unless you're happy with Artist Pallette.
