DD is getting married 12/06/05 at Sunset Point.
She will be getting ready in my room at Old Key West. There is no room service there. Cosmo will be arriving around 9AM so there's not much time to go out somewhere for a sit down breakfast. Looking for any suggestions: a place that will deliver breakfast, or something we could buy in advance to eat in the room. Most typical breakfast foods don't reheat very well & we're not cereal eaters. If we can't come up with anything else, will probably get danish from bakery the night before, but would prefer something more nutritious. A sugar high on top of wedding jitters may not be a good idea. Any ideas would be appreciated. I wonder if there's a service that will cook breakfast in your room. It might be worth the cost, so I don't have to do it along with everything else that morning. I will have a full kitchen at OKW.

We're discussing this same thing right now. I can't take a lot of sugar either so we're having cheese and crackers (Walmart has packages of cheese shaped like Mickey Mouse), champagne, oj, and mixed nuts. I need a couple of more "substance" foods, but I don't know what yet.

I'm getting married 12/03/05 at 1:00 we're actually trying to figure out if we will have enough time to have breakfast at 1900 Park Fare that morning. We're staying at PORR and wanted to have breakfast at GF and after go have our hair done at Ivy Trellis Salon at GF... Do you think this is too much..... or should we just have breakfast at our hotel and then go to the
Salon at GF..... We just want to eat a good breakfast, cuz we're skipping lunch and won't have dinner until after 5:30pm

Is there a bagel place nearby the resorts, to maybe pick up the night before? Or try to stop by the store the night before and pick up some fruit, juice and muffins/bagels from the bakery there. If I'm not mistaken, there is a grocery store nearby that delivers, I believe.

Setzkitten - I don't mean to sound gross and I'm not sure how your body is, but I'm thinking that wedding day jitters/nerves + cheese/nuts (protein) could equal a rumbly tummy, if you know what I mean..... I just know for me, it would, and I don't have a very sensitive tummy.

When we stay at OKW we make a point to order breakfast from the Olivia's menu, which you can get to go from the Counter Service place, Goods Food to Go. All of the buses stop there last, so even if you aren't close you could get up there, and then catch a bus back to your room. I believe they open at 7.

The other choice would be something like frozen breakfast pizza that you can cook in your microwave and coffee for you pot that you'll have in your room.

you can order breakfast to go from olivia's at okw. weve done that on a few family trips while at okw.

another option is ordering some breakfast goodies like bagels, cream cheese, milk, orange juice, danishs, etc from wegoshop.com they are a grocery store delivary service.
