Breakfast/lunch changeover

We have a 10:30 reservation for CP. The posted hours are till 10:45 for breakfast with lunch starting at 11:30. What happens in between those times? Do they stop refilling the stations? Start phasing in lunch options? Any issues with characters not coming around?

All our breakfast ADRs have been much earlier in the past. Thanks for your help!

In my experience, yes - you'll start to see some of the lunch items coming on the buffet. Also, the last time I did a 10:30am ressie for CP, they didn't have any of the breakfast lasagna - so, just a heads up. No issues with characters though!

You won't notice a thing at the stations except some breakfast items being replaced with lunch items. Nothing in the restaurant will stop. Quite honestly, I think this is the best time since you will get both breakfast items and lunch items without you noticing a thing to interrupt your visit. And - you will pay the breakfast price unless you are on the dining plan.

I just went thru this is October. They closed one side of the buffet down, and started to replace the breakfast items with lunch items. They kept the other side open and full for some time with breakfast items.
