I'm trying to decide where to have breakfast on the morning of our resort day. We're staying at the WL but it's nothing to hop over to the Poly. We haven't done either of these two places for breakfast. Which one would be better?

I haven't been to Kona, but I have been to WCC twice when we stayed at WL and once when were stayed at the Poly. It's a must do for us. The food is awesome, the cms are funny, and not too expensive (at least by Disney standards). I think it was $15 for all you can eat breakfast skillet. Eggs, potatoes, Mickey waffles, sausage, bacon, and sausage gravy biscuits. I'm planning a couple of breakfast there on our next trip.

we are the opposite. Have not had breakfast at WL but several times at Kona.
We LOVE the macadamia pancakes.Prices are reasonable and a nice portion of food too. While Ohana's always seemed packed Kona never did, could not understand because the food has always been very good.

All you can eat sounds good, but for the lighter appetite, how are the regular entrees off the menu at Whispering Canyon?

Thanks!:goodvibes

We were at Kona last Saturday. My wife loved the macadamia pancakes. I finally got to try tonga toast. That was delicious as well. We've never had breakfast at WCC, but have heard good things about that as well. I don't think you could go wrong either way.

If you want to eat in any sense of peace and quiet, you'll want to avoid WCC.

Have had breakfast only at WCC and it was very good. Only been to KC for dinner and it was out of this world! Will be checkin out KC for breakfast next trip in August

That is true. It is very loud and rowdy. Last time we were there there were only 3 other tables that had people at them. Very quiet but it was towards the end of breakfast so maybe that would make a difference.

I haven't been to either, but if I were at WL and had never eaten breakfast there, I would eat there and if I were at Poly and had never eaten breakfast at Kona, I would eat there.

Wow, that's a hard decision. Both are good. But, Kona wins for me. Tonga Toast and the Pressed Coffee Pot! YUM!

Kona~ but it's not exactly a quiet spot either, just not the rowdiness from the fun antics of the servers at WCC.
