Does anyone do this?

Obviously at home I do.....but I'm thinking at DLH? And like tracksuity looking PJs.....

I personally have never seen anyone do this in any of the hotels I have stayed in

As another guest I would not be impressed ;)
Would be an opportunity to seek out room service :thumbsup2

Mmm, didn't think so :(

At US hotels I've seen it loads. Never done it.

But I'm trying to think of ways to get breakfast on my one non EMH morning without sacrificing too much of my lay in. I was thinking maybe brrekkie before showering and stuff.

Guess I can shove some clothes on quickly, lol.

I never saw anyone in the morning in PJs or robes but did see lots walking around in robes later in the evenings (obv been to the swimming pool - or I hope!). Tbh if your PJs are like a tracksuit who is going to know?? :lmao:

PS - Was it you who has a prob with milk/dairy? I can't remember who it was? If it was, then we had no probs getting soya milk at breakfast - just used to ask for it and they would bring a carton (new) for us every day :) Some days they left it on the table and others they went to take it away and we just asked them to leave it as I take it in my coffee etc as well as DD1 on her cereal. HTH

Awesome thanks for that!

I'm enjoy my cereal with alprosoya as we speak!!

Well Ive never seen it, but its your choice, if you are clothed in one way or another then nobody can do anything about it anyway !!! :rotfl:

Well I think what i'll do is jsut throw on jeans and a top and go to breakfast and then go bac to my room and get ready. As i dont want to get all thermals and coat and scarves on for breakfast.

I couldnt go breakfast untill im fresh, id feel horrible eating in front of people just woken up lol.

Believe me, at the time we were getting to breakfast, eventhough we'd all been showered and shoeshined (as they say) I still felt rough :lmao:

Torsie - I thought it was you with the milk! Glad I could help - it's always a worry isn't it! Sadly I didn't find any in the actual parks at coffee places :(

PS - A tip - at breakfast they have bottles of mineral water just lying around by the juices. We used to take a big empty bottle of Volvic or whatever and just fill it up (did the same with DD1's water beakers too). No-one batted an eye and it saved us a bit - we did drink a bit out of the fountains in the parks too but preferred to use the mineral water from the hotel.... HTH

Hi, on a similar note...do you think I would look very cheap if I take a few bits and pieces from breakfast to snack on in the parks? I have to say I would have no qualms about doing this normally but DLH is quite posh and I don't want to look like a pleb.;)

95% of people do this. Some people even go to extremes :lmao:

Juliette - believe me no-one will even notice!!! We didn't bother only because we had snacks for DD1 anyway. I think we did take an apple one day (but I'd taken some fruit for her anyway) but tbh we only had one main meal a day mid afternoon after breakfast anyway so didn't need much. The breakfasts are huge - there is loads (I have some pics at risk of sounding a photo maniac lol!). We found there weren't many Brits at all there - mostly Italians and they don't take any cr&p when it comes to stuff! So you will not have any probs at all... It's quite busy at breakfast - not a scrum by any means, so no-one will even notice... just wrap it in a spare napkin if you are a little unsure... HTH

I doubt people will mind.

I can never eat much at breakfast when its that early, so tend to take it to my table and sneak it into my bag. Can't see DLH being any different than SL (although having seen photos its cheese slices! :rotfl: what is with those annoying cubes?

I'm tempted to havre breakfast at like 10am after EMH though when i know i'll be hungry and glad for a hot meal! (we go in Jan)

It used to be slices in all the hotels but apparently people went to the extreme with taking them to make lunches up & the hotels got fed up with it. So they cube the cheese to make it harder

Haha, i love it! I did spend a while chopping the cubes!

I have to admit I have ventured to brekkie in my pj's but to be honest they didn't look like I'd just slept in them, they were my posh pj's which I kind of lounge about in. I just figured they were comfy and practical when having to sort out our little girl and at least if she spilt something on me she wasn't messing up my going to the park clothing.

When we went in June my aunt came with us and when we went for brekkie one morning I said nice pj's to her only to be informed it was her outfit for the day and not pj's at all :goodvibes
