Who has eaten breakfasts in the parks recently? How late do they serve it? I'm looking at quick services places like Galactic Grill, Jolly Holiday, and Red Rose Taverne. Also, what are lines/crowds like for breakfast?

Thanks!

We love the breakfast burrito from Galactic Grill. The cinnamon roll at Jolly Holiday is amazingly rich and great.

Do you recall if waits/lines for breakfast were very long at either place? We haven't had breakfast in the parks in almost 10 years.

Also....does anyone know if the breakfast sandwiches at Jolly Holiday are premade or can you order them without cheese and/or hollandaise sauce?

We mobile ordered at both places, and this was at rope drop. The line to order at Jolly Holiday was jam-packed, so we always mobile order there. Galactic Grill had no lines when we went to get our food.

Galactic Grill is typically pretty dead for breakfast and very easy to find a quiet spot. The breakfast burrito is good and quite large. We also like the breakfast bowl there.

Red Rose is usually a bit busier and can be hit or miss getting a table (inside at least). Good food here too.

We also like breakfast at Pym's in DCA, though seating can be quite challenging. There's always the overflow seating area by Hyperion if you have to.

My favorite is the breakfast sandwich at Jolly Holiday. I also really liked the french toast at Pym's in DCA. Both very easy with mobile ordering. I think they stop breakfast at 10:30, but not positive about that.

DCA: Flo's in the past; but Pym's takes it now. However; the best is GC - Craftsman.
DL: Red Rose - best consistency but busy. Jolly holiday is good mobile order. Galactic grill = mcdonalds. The Ronto wrap was surprisingly good when we had it -- but SO FAR away unless you rope drop ROTR and head there afterwards.

Personally, I haven't really had any problems with breakfast seating at Pym's and have been able to sit right at the restaurant when I go there. (It is especially dead between 8 and 9 in my experience). But definitely once the crowds start trickling in, there's basically no hope for lunch/dinner.

Same experience. Although we usually eat around 9:30. Have never had to use the overflow seating at breakfast time.

Just had a really yummy breakfast at Red Rose Tavern and we walked right up around 10am - I got the plant based tots with quinoa, cauliflower and mushrooms, and my boys got the traditional eggs-bacon-tots and Mickey pancake with bacon. Everyone was very pleased, even my picky bacon aficionado. Lol. The tots really are quite good, we’ll be back for sure.

They now have the beef poutine over those tots and it's better than when it was waffle fries. I love the seasoning on the tots!

We tend to eat towards the end of the breakfast window when things are starting to pick up and, while we've always ended up finding something in the main area by the time our food was ready, it does sometimes take a little waiting/looking around by then.

Was looking at the mobile order times and lines yesterday and the only one I would prioritize ordering early to “be safe” would be jolly Holiday, regardless of what meal. They tend to have a lot of the seasonal stuff (plus the epic always available grilled cheese and tomato bisque for lunch and the raspberry rose macaron) so it feels like they are always busy to me.

Changing subjects a bit to an advance dining reservation at the Plaza Inn. Is there sufficient indoor seating when it might be raining?

Oh dang...I hadn't even thought about indoor seating at any place for when it's raining. I haven't been to the parks in the rain since 2009, I think. Our autistic son hates rain so I should probably figure out the restaurants where we can eat indoors ahead of time! Thanks for the reminder.
