Hey everyone! With my trip fast approaching, I was looking to get some insight as to what breakfast options are available.
Do they offer any quick service locations(think of like a bounty platter from Disney)?
Can you eat breakfast at 3 Broomsticks or Leaky Cauldron(We did not book the Harry Potter Package)? If so, is it walk up or can I make a reservation?
Also, I am getting conflicting reviews on the SuperStar Character Breakfast...Is it a buffet? on some reviews it states you get 1 "Meal" per person..others reference a Buffet. Also, I watched a video that was filmed maybe a month ago...would the characters in that video be a good guess as to who would be there? My kids don't really care for Hop and Dora..but they love the Minions and Sponge Bob!

All hotels have a quick service breakfast. Also, at the entrance of each park there is a quick service restaurant with breakfast. You can eat at both Three Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron for breakfast. Only package people can make reservations but others can do walk ups.

Superstar is a buffet. I believe at least the parade characters from Hop and Despicable Me make appearances.

Here's a good recent video.

Thank you! That is actually the video that I was referring to that I watched! :thumbsup2

When did Superstar become a buffet? We have gone three times and it was a plated breakfast based on a few options each time. Gru and a Minion (I think Stu), EB and the girl bunnies from Hop (EB was awesome!!!), Spongebob and Dora/Diego.

We did the Superstar Character Breakfast on April 29th, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The character interaction was FANTASTIC (there were 8 in total.....Gru, one minion, EB & Fluffy from HOP, Dora, Diego, Spongebob Squarepants and Squidward Tentacles) and the staff were excellent.

The food was a buffet and all you care to enjoy (eggs, meats, pancakes, breakfast potatoes, pastries, fruit, etc.). Not the most extensive breakfast buffet we've even been to but the items they had were hot, fresh and quite tasty. Drinks were served to us at our table and replenished on request.

I would absolutely, positively recommend it. Even as three adults, we had an awesome time.

Well, that may just change my plans for the upcoming vacation (15 days!!!!!!!). We usually eat the buffet in the hotels, but for a few bucks more, we can go see GRU!!! I agree with Gina - we have no kids this time around and still would love to go - the characters are great!

We went in the off season and had the first reservation of the day - it was still pretty empty when EB came out with his drumsticks and spent at least 6-7 minutes with my son teaching him some percussion - another of those memories! That is like an eternity for character interaction.

We also went the second week of December (before the crowds) and had a similar, wonderful experience with the Grinch at his character breakfast.

I was thinking about doing the breakfast at The Kitchen. Is the Superstar Character Breakfast better?
