We are heading to disney tomorrow, and I was wondering what do you do for breakfast? We are staying at POFQ -- do they have breakfast type food or fruit there? or in the park?

thanks

I usually eat breakfast at my resort before I head to the park. Normally, I eat a smaller breakfast (bagel, croissant, yogurt + fruit) at the counter service place at my resort. I usually don't do a large meal for breakfast because I eat so much for lunch & dinner.

We eat breakfast in our resort also. I buy granola bars, fruit, juice, coffee, etc.
And we take turns eating/getting ready for the day! We always have CS for lunch and TS for dinner. That way, we are not wasting any time in the morning by eating in a restaurant!:goodvibes

We had breakfast bars and fruit in our room before heading to the parks. Our town car driver stopped at a grocery store on our way to the resort, but you could also pack some non-perishable things in your luggage. The resort CS tend to get hectic in the mornings and you can waste a lot of time just trying to get a bagel. We ate lunch early (around 11:00 in the parks), which worked out very well. The restaurants weren't very busy, so we got in and out and back to rides quickly. :cheer2:

POFQ has a food court with breakfast food. We either eat there or one of us goes to the food court and we eat in the room. Packing or shipping food (non-perishables) is helpful, too, but it is too late for shipping food!

Here is the POFQ food court breakfast menu...

Have a great trip!

POFQ has a food court called "Sassagoula Floatworks". We haven't stayed there in about a year, but breakfast at that time was good, reasonable and pretty quick. Here is a link to the menu:

My DH brought back an order of beignets one morning that were very yummy.

That's where we'll be eating most mornings during our trip in December.

my GOSH are those things yummy....pastries, sandwiches, muffins, they're all good. AND if you are on the DDP, you get an obscene amount of food for one CS credit.

We ate CS breakfast a few times at the ASMo food court and thought it was pretty good. Not a big wait either I didn't think. We could be in and out in 20 minutes tops. Of course it was just two of us. We had breakfast at Crystal Palace our last morning and LOVED it. We also ate breakfast one morning at MGM's ABC comissary and wasn't impressed at all. :sad2:

We're planning on doing breakfast at Ohana's our next trip. I like an early b'fast with some substance, a snack or cs at lunch and a TS meal for dinner. But we're going to try it a few different ways next trip so we can fit in the restaurants we want on the schedule I'm planning. Some TS b'fast, some TS lunch and TS dinner (several signatures) and we'll be going for the DxDP. But, eating at different restaurants for us is part of the vacation experience since we don't have very many restaurants in our area, and those are mostly chains. While we've only been once, I knew that taking a break to sit down and eat would be good for us. I don't feel it cut into our park touring time that much as I spread out the meals enough to where we needed a break by these times anyway. ;) And I'm hoping that our next trip will be even better!!!!

My favorite breakfast at Disney World is the Banana-Stuffed French Toast. You can get it at Port Orleans Riverside in Boatwright's served with strawberry-banana sauce.

You can also get the same thing, only it's called Tonga Toast, at both Kona Cafe and Capt. Cook's counter service at the Polynesian, and at the Rainforest Cafe at the Animal Kingdom. Tonga Toast is served with pancake syrup.
