Breakfast hours at resort restaurants

I was looking at breakfast hours using the list of restaurants here http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/disneydining.cfm
and was surprised to see that several don't start serving until 7:30. Some examples are Kona and Cape May.

IMO I'd like to see breakfast start at 7 so that there's time to enjoy breakfast and still be able to get to a park for rope drop. I know CS restaurants open earlier but with so many people on the dining plan or getting free dining I would think TS restaurants will be very busy.

I would like to see b-fst earlier so I can get to the parks earlier. It is why we often don't do TS for breakfast. We usually will make a "special" breakfast day and go to The Wave once or at most twice per trip (sometimes Kona instead of the Wave for the 2nd breakfast) but other than that we don't so Resort TS breakfasts. We will either get breakfast on the go or get Crystal Palace at MK if we want a breakfast TS.

I don't want a buffet breakfast everyday but that's all that's available in the parks for TS - and 7:30 at a resort is just cutting it too close.

Oh no doubt. I 100% agree with you. I guess if the park you are going to opens at 9 and you get to go somewhere close, that could work. For example, get a Kona breakfast at opening when MK opens at 9 or get Fresh at the Dolphin and go to EPCOT or DHS for a 9AM opening.
